Arillas Trail Review

I have been coming to the village for years and enjoy walking to the shrines past the Akrotiri and to the village of Afionas but the Arillas Trail is something new.
It is the best signed trail I have come across. In just under two hours I was never in any doubt as to which way to go. The planners are to be congratulated.
I went on my own, armed with a small bottle of water, at the start of August. It was a truly memorable and very enjoyable experience. Thank you to all involved in its creation.

Resort description

Aerial view of cape Kefali between Arillas and San StefanosWhether it is a sandy beach and traditional tavernas run by local families, water-sports, quietens and tranquillity; traditional food and drink; you will always find something that will suit you in Arillas.
As it is a good base for exploring the rest of northern Corfu, it is recomended to hire a car, as the local bus service is very poor and fits only the locals who go shoping to Corfu town.

A windy day in Arillas

Windy Arillas

A windy day in Arillas beach can be a great oportunity for our little boys and girls as well as the older "sportsmen" of Arillas. The North-west wind ( MAISTRO) can be very strong and can create larger waves that are just enough for body boards, skimboard, and small young surfers.

Arillas History

An article which was inspired from our forum's topic about whether Arillas is an authentic place or not.
During the middle age, Corfu was full of small communities that lived on the hills away from the coasts, as there was always a fear of foreign attacks like pirates etc. that would come in to the island to robe and destroy what ever they found.
