the little bu**ers have eaten us both alive! Counted almost 30 bites,

Glenny - Really sorry to have missed you this year.
Can't understand why
I must have sent, at least, 30 of my flying friends around with a message to meet y'all for a drink. But I know they do get side tracked a little. And... only 3 of em came back.
I'm told that 10 ended up as wall furniture, 8 finished up stuck to shoes, 6 were caught in mid air by some sort of gaseous spray and 3 are M.B.S. ( Missing Believed Swatted )

Hope your hol was a goodie. Try "buzz off" next time.
Cheers
Negg

Lol Negg! So it was you sent them was it?
I'll get my own back next year, I'll eat a whole bag of jelly babies in front of you and won't offer you any, not one!
I did spray them and they just laughed at me then flew off to bite Kevin's wife.

lmao

Glenny luvver, Eggy has a little mafia going there. He commissions the mossies to bite anyone who refuses to give him jelly babies. Poor old kay (lovely lady, kev.g's wife) just wasn't told. So it is all his fault.

Have you met my son?????

lmao even more - Eggy knows what I am on about....

Ah Phil - Wot can I say?

Don't forget I'm still looking after your false teeth which you forgot to pack last year.
( Well. only the bottom set, I'm afraid - Wegg used the top set to make the crust around some home made pasties )

Now, Mozzies - Graham and Julie very sadly leave for the UK this evening. I wish I could have spent much more time with them and their month went sooo faaaast.
Anyway, Julie left me with some Buzz Off extra strength mozzie spray
( She says it was a bit like spraying paint stripper on - Burny or wot?)
Anyone else have a problem with this product?
Cheers
Negg

I always pronounce it with an "S"..  I was wondering how it was said until we got there and heard others say ArillaS!!

If you have a look at the Arillas Song you can hear how its said
If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.

Last year Di used Mosquit - ex which was recomended on this forum, now Di suffers badly from mosquito bites and seems to be the local target for the little b*****s, but last year only two bites all fortnight. But the only place we found it after serching all over was at the airport on the way out(Bristol). It certainly worked for her (and me).

Hi Paul
I too find Mosquit - ex  the best but there are only certain places that sell it I looked it up on their website and it said in the UK it's only airports and Superdrug that sells it, hence why in May I got  the Boots version,I looked up the ingrediants and they were the same, 50 % deet and some others I can't pronounce. I think with Mosquit - ex  the more you put it on it builds up a resistance, I put it on the day I fly and a week before stop wearing my beloved perfumes, but that's a very small sacrifice for  not getting bitten.
Take Care
Mary

My first week started off ok. Then all of a sudden my right leg resembled the French Alps. I used mozi wipe to treat the bites. I did not realise it had an aesthetic in it until I accidentally wiped my mouth with the swab.
Had wubber  lipths for a couple of hours.
Worked though. Stopped me irritating the bites so  No pain.

I also have a zapper you put over the bite and press a button and a spark jumps across the bite.
Does not work but it brings alive the masochist in me.

Only got 2 little bites in the whole fortnight. That was the night i went out unprotected. I always use Jungle Formula tropical strength. Works for me.
