Or... If you are a bit shy then give me a call. I have to charge a call out as I  probably wouldn't reach from Kavaddades. ( Trying to allow for the hills etc ! - Angles n all that! )

This hottie weather seems to have increased the Mozzie tribe a twinge and even me, who thought I was a twinge immune, had two bites yesterday. So be prepared all you new guests. ( Small price to pay though for a good time - must take some precautions )

These new mosquito posts have just reminded me that I need to thank MaryH for her suggestion to use rub on repellent instead of spray on.

I've found the only thing that works is a formula either in gel or cream that contain 50% deet, as Sprays evaporate ( well that's what I was told by a doctor )

We found it really worked this year. We used Jungle Formula Extra Strength and it did seem to work as we didn't have many bites.

The rub on seemed to create a film on the skin whereas the spray on seemed to disappear after a few hours. When we were bitten, the Jungle Formula Bite and Sting Relief spray was the best we had ever used to alleviate the the irritation.

Next time I am in Arillas, I will make sure I use a "wee" bit more to feel extra safe

Yes I really do think the rub on repellants work better as I used to get horrendous bites but now I still get them but very few. The advise I was given about the rub on repellants was from a doctor in San Stefanos.
