Frank ( Corfusoon ) is not wrong.
It was a real "wetty". It bought out quite a few frogs hopping across roads as I drove to Arillas. - I think I avoided most of them.

Together with Matt and Claire ( Mythos & Metaxa ) we were made very welcome at "Eftihia". It did look closed but we climbed those 'ole steps and with good food plus good company it was a pretty damm good evening.

Efi and mother Katerina had the time to chat with us as well.

Got home safely, thanks Ang.

Now, at 11:25 pm, no rain and an outside temp of 18 deg.
I don't read weather predictions so, sticking neckout, I reckon Avrio will be a good day.

Lindy P.
I think Katerina and Eftihia have done a fine job considering the circumstances.
(We nearly asked if she had frogs legs when she she hopped off to get us a Retsina)

So, It was late morning and the sky burped/grumbled at us a few times. Spat at us about midday. Just 2 gentle reminders.
1. Nature's still and charge.
2. Guess what's happening later

3.15pm and down came the rain. But only for about 45 mins. It was still warm but the temp decided that, at around 23 deg, enough was enough.
5 pm saw a very aggresive sea and, not suprisingly, a quiet beach. I did see one person in the sea. I don't think he/she had fallen in. They weren't shouting or waving frantically. - Mind I could only see a head. -

So, I was technically right, Arillas was a good day. ( For everything but sun bathing )

I saw some of it on the webcam, when the lightning flashed the whole page lit up it must have been great looking out to sea. Viv

I don't think you'd be there very long. - maybe that's how the person, I saw yesterday, ended up swimming.

We've got a wet Arillas today so the forecast is right. rained overnight but then held off unil 12:30 ish. I think it waited until I was just about to finish working out side .
( About 10 minutes left to complete the job and I can do now is wait )

Temp is hovering around the 19 deg and it does feel very comfortable.
Inside temp here is 22 deg so I think we've got the cavity insulation etc just about right. Checking every nook and cranny for leaks and can't find any.

And finally, a piece of info, probably more uninteresting and worthless since General Custers sergeant said to him "I see some Indians!"
Corfu has slugs !! - I've found 2 today. maybe at some point I'll find an earthworm !!
1:02 pm and the rains stopped - Time to finish outside job.

Rain stopped here just after one ish and now the temp has moved uo to 23 deg.
It feels quite calm at Kavvadades. A few clouds around still. Wendy has looked at the forecast for the next 3 days and Wed/Thu/Fri say rain. Personnaly I think Thursday onwards will be better, for about a week. That's only going on previous trends we've found during October Hols.
The best bet this afternoon is a bed around a pool. It's certainly warm enough.

I hope the weather keeps nice.  Someone from work is flying out this afternoon.  She has done one of the Thomsons price breakers (i think thats what they are called). She is either staying in Agios Georgios, San Stefanos or Sidari, three star half board hotels.  She has gone on my recommendation knowing that we have been going year in and year out!!

I get quite worried when Eggy hasn't composed his daily report. I get this vision of a row of donkeys outside the coconut with their back legs missing, and weggy waiting back at home with a dried up stifardo in the oven.

Ooops he has just logged in.
