20 minutes non violent rain this morning at about 10 a.m. and now we've got a very civilised 22 deg at eleven.

We have just come back from our very first visit to cornwall and it was brilliant, apart from one days rain it was sunshine all the way and it reminded us of arillas so much, relaxed, peaceful, fresh food,friendly,  but fear not arillas is still our favourite destination it has that magic that other places dont seem to have.
 Cornwall is brilliant but arillas is heaven. Tell you what eggy, when we get there in june if you havent done all your jobs i will give you a hand if you want im not a builder but for some reason i dont mind painting! yammas all.

Cornwall was, and still is, is a great favourite of mine. Get the weather right and you do get a cracker of a holiday. ( I May save you some painting, in the house, for June 08 )

We've had 3 showers here today, Last one about 3 pm, and although breezy,still have a temp of 25deg. Very lazy day today and never got to Arillas but I imagine very similar conditions there, as in Kavvadades.

Rain is forecast again but versatile Arillas Holidaymakers will treat it, with as much nuisance, as a fly on an Elephants bum. They will enjoy the break and adapt accordinly.

Temps dropped 2 deg in the space of 50 minutes. It may be a chilly evening plus the chanc of rain. Whoa!!

I feel a little like an "on the spot" reporter here, but I just gotta tell you!!
6:15 pm and a little thunder with just a twing of lightening. And it's coming from the Arillas side of Kavvadades. We're in Arillas for a meal tonite so it will be interesting, Taverna spotting, to see who sits inside and who sits outside under cover as the temp is still a bit over 22 deg. Lightening as I type. How exciting after not having seen anything this dramatic since Noufri @ Brouklis sliced off the top of his finger whilst cutting bread. Sorry Noufri, you are about to be knocked off the number one "Major Event" position.
I think there's no need for Wegg to water the garden this evening.
She needs a rest.  Working too hard.  Poor thing.

Egg here - Your 6:41 pm on the spot man for Kavvadades and Arillas.
( And probably an Ouzo too many already !! )

It's coming down with a vengeance and linked to the 'ole thunder and a few flashes makes a very excellant picture. A worthy storm indeed.
( Flashes not by me as the temp has dropped to 19 deg )

Bear a thought for us here as I have to get in the 'ole peugeot about 7:45 and point the vehicle towards Arillas. It's not easy but someone's gotta do it!

Big ol storm over Arillas this evening.

Roads are flooded all round.

Hope Eggy hadnt reserved a place outside at the Brouklis!

The walk from there to the Coconut would be madness at the moment!
