Goes to his first K/O comp, at Armourada last Thursday and beats "Hippos" Pete in the Final!!
Also at Rainbow on Friday - Bugger!

And... another Nickoletos guy, Dimitris......

He can take on Vasilis and Nickos and beat both of 'em.

I have made a cunning plan to give that young Dimitris all the knowledge, I know, as he listens and he learns from all he the help he is given.

Meanwhile............... The last darts K/O at Rainbow, last night.

The question that must be asked is ..... "Rainbow Dimitris , are you training your sons to beat all??"

First we have Paniotis and now Yianis gets in on the scene!!!!!!

We should change his name to "Jack the Giant Killer" as he disposed of Night Owl's Makis, first round, and then Night Owl 2, Father Jimmy, 2nd round and then ME, in the final.... Why me? - Do I not practice every day?

I love to see the youngsters trouncing the oldsters. It is why I teach teenagers at College, in the hope they will better themselves and do better in life than their doting parents ever thought they would. And sometimes I succeed.

Sad it was the last one. Being able to share in the enthusiasm of the darts players when I am there in Arillas, and all of Neill's posts on forum has been a "K/O" for me.

Well a first for me, after you left The Rainbow this afternoon Eggy I managed to beat Keith with double 2 on our last game of the holiday! You were correct when you said I'd be throwing better by the end of the holiday! Keith reckons the fact he was wearing a blindfold helped a little!

Why does everyone want to beat me? I am just a normal guy who can miss treble 20 for a pastime.

But.... If I can lose to an 11 year old, then a six year old won't be a major problem.

" Meet the Meerkats !!! "

A happy go lucky bunch who, on Wednesday, extended their claws and scared the daylights out of the newly formed "Hotel Marvelous" Team. "Marvel" could only stand and "Marvel" at why they missed the doubles and Meerkats did not.

The match went to the deciding leg of the last game which, with a great deal of luck, went the way of Marvel, only after all players had shots at the double. 6-5 to Marvel , who felt Marvelous! (Or relieved!)

And.... what is Vasilis playing at? - Hitting doubles? - (We thought he was "Armour-Less" at Darts.)
And.... Capt. Brenda beating MOI?

We are now half way through the Winter League. Only 4 teams, this Winter, due to many Greek players seeking work away from the Island and quite a few "ex-pats" returning to the UK.
However it is still nail biting stuff!!! - (Edge of my seat as I type!!)

Three W's lead the field with 43 points and Kokalo chase with 38 points. Marvel have 37 points and are still in the game whilst Meerkats, who sit with 14 points continue to feel happy that those points won make a big difference to the other three teams.

The best 301 game is Xrisanthos (W's) with 10 darts.
Andy (Marvel) and Leon (Armourada) top the 100+ table with 21 each.
Xrisanthos holds the highest out with 102
Negg has a 171 ( 3 x treble 19's ) but no 180's recorded ?? WOTSALLTHATABOUT?.

The Arillas Bench K/O takes place, this Wednesday and 19 players will compete for the award, donated by Kevin G, last year. Favourites are Andy (Marvel) , Xrisanthos (W's) and Negg ( Marvel) but with Negg drawn against Andy, in the first round? - Who is going home early??

Lovely to hear the darts news, a reduction in players means the trophies will be gained easier.
