hey everyone! This is me from Arillas, part way into my hols! We had our renewal of vows ceremony on Wed, simply perfect.  We were blubbering idiots THROUGHOUT but what a lovely day. Pics to follow.

As the euro creeps steadily up to e1.17, and the temperature creeps slowly towards a 33 deg, we are reminded , yet again , just what Arillas today has to offer.
( Careful of the mild beachy breeze though - It's hotter than you think )

Mind you - What I could have said was.............
........ After a lunchtime game of darts with Nickos ( Night Owl ) followed by a leisurely drink with Linda ( Owl ) and Paul and Clare ( Armenades ) I am reminded etc etc.

Or... I could have said.... After a mid afternoon drink with Xrisanthos ( Three W's ) at Helens Creperie , which included a chat with Nickos and Noufris ( Brouklis ) which reminds me etc etc.
( Did Nickos and Noufris really have 2 kebabs each ? - Little piggies they are!)

Or... I could have said... After a chat with Spiros ( Portofino ) who was just closing for a late afternoon kip I made my way to the Nut for an Ouzo and to pass some time with Kostas and Peri which reminds me etc etc.

Not sure what to put but, all in all, just another example of Arillas today.

I've said before "It's hard work but someone's gotta do it"

Take this afternoon for example. I have to go to the Owl soon and finish a bottle of Retsina which someone bought for me.
Then.... I have to go to Rainbow because I think they are trying to  contact me.
Then.... I have to go to the NUT to give Peri aset of darts to try.
And... I'm trying to find an e-mail for someone. - Yet another Bar for an "Iced Coffee"

I'm not sure if I can do all this is the short space of time allocated and with the temps of 29/30deg and sunny.
Hard work indeed - Have you tried throwing a dart in these temperatures?

Sympathy-That's what I need , right now.... And an Ouzo or beer or the Retsina at OWL

Gotta go.

Well Janis - Mission accomplished right now - BUT MY HEAD HURTS!

Hmmmmmm !- Don't think it was the Retsina or Ouzo or the beer.I put it down to the added pressure of completing all tasks within a scheduled time.-Not easy yer know!
( Wot am I on about? )

Not all completed as I missed Dave Mull.- He must have gone in the Nut after I left.
( But I did see someone hiding in the Ladies Toilet! )

A very good Arillas today which came complete with a mild breeze on the beach.
(Not the sandblasting breeze but the breeze where care is needed-Hotter than it feels)

It's a busy Arillas and, I know I have said it all before, but I just love to stroll around eavesdroppig to all the different languages. - Wottalottafun.

Temps still hover around 29 deg at 7:30 pm and I can't see a c.loud in the Sky.

6th August and many more days to the end of the season to enjoy. If you're over in September then don't worry. We'll leave a bit of sun for you. Generous or what?
