Hi Eggy!
Great pics of the walk I did in May. You must be quite brave to drive along that road as its very steep in places and there was a lot of surface missing. Brought back some good memories.
Yammas,
Martin.

Not the best of drives and bits of road missing - Not many places to turn round.

Ha Ha Paul and Eggy. My sister used to live in Charmouth in Dorset and I have actually tried a pint of Piddle when we were there. Can't remember if it was good or not but worth a try for the name sake!

As for the drible Eggy, there's one for my old age. Not long now then....

lol

Eggy & Phill,
I am sure you would both enjoy a pint of JIMMY RIDDLE from the same Brewery.

Never got to Arillas today but did pay a visit to San George.
( See places to visit )

On the way back I did stop for an Ouzo or two so ran out of time.

Spare a thought for this poor soul though as, when I've had a couple, I do tend to talk a bit. - ( If he had hidden away then his hind legs would have remained safe! )

Cheers

Arillas is alive and very well today folks.

After, about, an 8 deg start to the morning which did find around 9 deg at 11:30 am we are now sitting, fairly comfortably, at 14/15 deg, 3pm our time.

Although the recent bad weather helped the sea pinch our beach Arillas is fighting back and reclaiming it slowly.

.

There's still a lot of kelp around but that will be cleared, dried out and on local gardens before you know it.

The build on the front, next to Marinaki, is taking shape very well. Take my word for it, in that, it is straight. It was me who was at an angle!

It's looking good Negg. I can't believe how the new apartments at the Marinaki are coming along, it doesn't seem that long ago since i was there (about 7 weeks) and there was nothing.

cheers...

As I remember there is a nice empty little plot next to the lane by "Efthhias".. there's a little track that goes back to Villa Nikos I think and its before the Portofino.  Now that would be nice to have a little house there, right in front of the beach and next to "Efi's"...it probably already belongs to someone anyway and is waiting for a building to be put there..  just right for me and Mike I was thinking tho'...

See my post under 'Sophia and Dimitris' - I think you may be talking about their land here.

Poor "Arillas Today" has been greatly neglected recently. - soooorrrrrryyy.

Wegg back from the Uk on Monday so normal service to be resumed soon.
Looking after myself this week but it's all OK. Wegg gave me a map of the kitchen.
Something like:-
"Walk past fridge/freezer and turn right. The glass topped unit is the cooker"
" The big metal floor-standing unit, in the utility room, is the washing machine "

Right now today, started on 12 deg and dry. Then, boy oh boy, hailstones at midday and a very wet afternoon. Currently raining, at 5 pm, loadsa thunder with some lightnening. - I gotta go out in this. - Darts and Mon Amour for me tonight.
I found the cooker, now just have to read the instructions!
And the washing machine. - Not needed . I can make a pair of socks last a week!

Xmas lights starting to pop up around Arillas,Kavaddades etc and, give me a dry evening, I'll see if I can get the camera motivated.

Pelting down outside at the mo. - Can you play darts in wellies?
Cheers All
Negg

Hiya Eggy !
Find it hard to imagine it there with hail and rain and probably a little deserted.
What time does it get dark at now ?
Hope I don't burn !
