The thing is you don't see many athletes there do you Eggy!

BG

We're all athletes here! - Only today I ran into to the Coconut bar whilst an important game of volley ball was going on beachside.
( And I ran all the way from the sea front )

I did my own version of the 50 km walk retrieving my darts from the board at Rainbow whilst an Englishman was attempting a double 4 litre tray lift of lager, with tray, from the bar and from a sitting position. ( He was on a stool at the time )

Meanwhile..... A young lad of 6 attempted a double somersault from the "pool edge"
and received scores of 6-1 , 2-3 , 2-2, 1-1,
( The 6 was from his parents )

Nah - We're all athletes here!

Negg

Sue it's lovely to hear from you out there, keep em coming, where did you eat last night and what did you have?

Negg does swimming 4 laps of the pool every morning make me an athlete when I'm in Arillas? lol, thats about it for me, then a sunbathe then another 4, then food, and drink and on and on.

Sharon

As far as I am concerned, just thinking about getting in the water to swim 4 laps makes you an athlete ! -
( The mental excercise that I do every day - no wonder I'm always exhausted )

Don't think I'll get to Arillas today as "fings ter do" . It's 31 deg here now at 2 pm so it'll be slow " fings ter do ".

Can I nominate Sue n Ian as roving reporters for a coupla days?

Ha Ha Eggy and thanks to Sharon.
We got up at 10 oclock and headed towards the beach. We called in a few shops and then went in the Mirage. Chilled out there for a few hours and had our dinner, there was a nice breeze.

We went for a paddle and then had a latte in Ammos, the breeze while we sat there was warm.

Headed back to Anna's it was absolutly roasting, today has been a very hot day and quite busy in Arillas.

Sue & Ian xx

Thanks for the update Sue and Ian. We managed to go to Mirage twice and thoroughly enjoyed. Not eaten there yet, but we will, especially after your report.

We rushed around like headless chickens our last two weeks. In September we will try to keep our heads on (doubtless we will fail....) With so many forum members to meet that will be a tad difficult.

Annas has a special atmosphere of a family homecoming. The young lad who nearly pushed her in the pool, and then Kostas laughing his head off hoping he would succeed next time.... priceless.

For anything else there's MaterCard......

all the best
Phil

Don't ask how and why but Litsa and I where on the beach front last night at 01:00  watching the moonlight.

I'm sure the picture is not as good as Marika's Last August  but I did my very best with my  old NIKON D70s using the 30" Second speed shutter.
Have good day Every one,

What a tonic this site is!!!

Got to work feeling thoroughly miserable. I've just picked my car up from the garage along with a bill for £325 for a new exhaust and ,surprise surprise, it's pouring with rain. Faced with a mountain of paperwork, I thought "s*d it! I'll have a look at the forum."

Now, after tears in my eyes reading John and Dots report, then tears in my eyes laughing at Barrys 'weirdo' encounters, then spirits lifted even further reading about the donkey sanctury success and seeing Dimitris photo of the moon.

Fit to face the world now!!

Thanks to everyone for just "being there".
