Karl,
Wish U was here , today ,lad.!!
Afternoon spent with, yet another good pal who has the ability to keep me in my seat with interesting chat, plus that smile which makes the pacemaker work overtime.
(Usually I am over hypo and cannot sit still so credit to her.)
Extra credit to her partner. If I could find an easier person to talk with, then I would have to advertise.
A good guy and calls a spade a spade. - Gets my vote. - They should move to Corfu!!

Enjoyable , for an 'ole fart like me , and the 34 deg temp meant diddly. Good to meet old pals.
Good to sit and spend prime time with prime time pals.

A little Kalo Taxidi to Erja and Paul , this afternoon. Even with the covid scare we did kiss.
(Erja was very jealous!!! - but next time.... if I don't slobber at my age!!)
A super couple and Paul has been ,very quickly, accepted into the Arillas family here. AND-Y-NOT???

A long chat with Lin n Jim, who then went off to hunt nationalities who put sunbeds too close to others.
Arillas Vigilantes, me-thinks!! - He was armed with a cocktail stick, cuddly toy and umbrella from the A-Z posts,  so be very afraid. Personally, with 33 deg and another hottie for yer bottie , I would sit still.
(Life is tooshort especially for John Cleese impersonations)
We talked about Kalimari and Lin said , although she enjoys, the tentacles are a problem with Jim.
I think she said tentacles but I could have misheard. Change of chat , halfway, possibly. WOTDOIKNOW?
(Is this why Jim was talking in a high voice???)

Boss , Dimi , briefly appeared and took over the main street of Arillas. But after shouting abuse at him he quickly disappeared. Always the gentleman. Leon , Armrourada , waiting patiently behind him.
(Leon , patient?? - new one for me!!)

A good afternoon for me who must now cook a steak plus onions plus mushrooms plus chips and really hope this is the way Wegg would have done it. (I will eat in between the necessary housework)
Cheers
Negg

Viv
Kev n Bev don't give a "Monkeys Bum" about anything , right now.
Totally chilled at Tria and spent a short time with them.
I am sure Kev was so chilled he kept floating above his seat.
(But no white linen trousers so nowt to worry about)

and he cannot relax too much as I have something he just may get his teeth into.
(Peel 'em first, maybe?)
What is a Corfu CHOKKU ? , as on a u-tube clip by CORFUAL???? (walking arond Corfu? -aint seen none!)
Life is as good as it can get and still 33 deg outside. Me-thinks these guys have picked a good week.

For me?? --- A chicken to cook - Should last me and the cats 3 days.
(But... I am a piggy for chicken so the cats may get cornflakes!! - with milk of course)
I could catch a rat and then we could have a leg each!!
Cheers

Hi Neil no problem it is spelt choko
It is a Chayote. also known as mirliton and choko, is an edible plant belonging to the gourd family, Cucurbitaceae. Chayote was one of the several foods introduced to the Old World during the Columbian Exchange. Also during this period, the plant spread from Mesoamerica to other parts of the Americas, ultimately causing it to be integrated into the cuisine of many other Latin American nations.

Cucurbita (Latin for gourd) is a genus of herbaceous vines in the gourd family, Cucurbitaceae (also known as cucurbits or cucurbi) native to the Andes and Mesoamerica. Five species are grown worldwide for their edible fruit, variously known as squash, pumpkin, or gourd, depending on species, variety, and local parlance, and for their seeds. Other kinds of gourd, also called bottle-gourds, are native to Africa and belong to the genus Lagenaria, which is in the same family and subfamily as Cucurbita, but in a different tribe. These other gourds are used as utensils or vessels, and their young fruits are eaten much like those of Cucurbita species.

Thanks Neil I will do a full list about this plant when I go home
I don’t bring my bible (garden encyclopaedia) with me to heavy

Kev

P/S
Sorry I was in another world with plants

Yes we had a chat trying to put the world right we didn’t do it haha  see you soon again

Well done , our Kev.
But... I am worried if people walk around Hornsea, in raincoats. - I hope these are not the plastic mac brigade and frequent parks, late afternoon??? !!!
(and I always thought "flash" was just for floors)

anyway........ I am pleased to see the temp reduce to 27deg at 8:15pm. Raincoats not needed here , unless I have a few and stand on the balcony "waving" at passer's by. - ooohpah!!
Cheers
