Aww, I missed the film. It inspired me to first visit Greece. To drink a glass of local wine watching the sunset. No words needed, just the thoughts of thousands of years of history as the sun melts into the sea. Bliss

Hi Sara,
Like Sandy says I know where I'd rather be right now:
Today we had 9 degrees in Denmark during the day and
we still have frost at night.

Erja

Me three! I would rather be there too *deep sigh*

Thank you for the picture Sara :)
Life is good ;)

Ah well Sara another week at home for you hope the rain stops, it is nice here in the uk but we always seem to get a good april/may the past few years and then its a summer wash out

Spooky - I have more or less the same view from May 3rd last year Sara, but the sun was shining on that day!
Home is where the heart is - CORFU :-)

Arillas Today.
Some people say that "Good comes of everything"

We've all been very lucky to have Sara as our roving reporter and, thanks to that 'ole fag ash in the sky, we have her for another week.

Apologies from me as I have been doing that thing called WORK, recently so haven't had much time to post. - But I know we're all being looked after. Bravo Sara!

Anyway....... Couldn't resist these pics of the beach as I passed through, late morning

.

.

S'all beginning to take shape around the appts, Hotels and bars with many paint brushes busy doing what they do best.

Temps around the 19 deg mark at 3:30 pm. A dry day with a fair helping of sun.
Lets hope it gets better, during the week, as a bonus for those who are stranded here.
( Don't you just feel sorry for 'em? )
Cheers
Negg

Cheers Neil, the beach looks really good.

GaryS

The sight of the beach is starting to fill my heart with joy. 9 weeks and 6 days, not that I'm counting :-)

patrickjohn

Thanks for the beach pics Neil - can stop worrying about that now.  Will begin worrying about the ash instead!  Am hoping to fly to Kos in 4 weeks.
Best wishes
Pat
