Eggy mate, Arillas Today sounds just like it was when we left in July. Full of happy people, making the most of it all.

Last September the thunder set in about now, after weeks of hot and heavy for the first three weeks. It was spectacular and we loved it.

Afterwards it stopped being opressively hot (not that being hot ever opresses me though - I do hot. I love it hot.) And Arillas changed. It was well worth seeing.

Arillas today is short of one thing...

Arillas today gives us around 24 deg and dry. A much quieter Arillas, which is to be expected as it nears October now. But still much fun and chilling out being had by all.
Not a suntan sort of day but a "Hey - Luvittobits and cannee beat it sort of day"

Met Tony n Glenda and said final bye byes to Steve n Lisa.

A good day allround and still much being offered here. Plenty of food still to be eaten and plenty of company still to be enjoyed. C'mon John n Dot , Riggers n Sue, Martin W and others.

Thanks for update Eggy. Jen is full of wedding stress - which candle should go WHERE?

Our Wegg just came and shouted at me "pick me up and give me a hug..." Then the little tart wandered off and fell asleep amongst the cases of wine ready for next Sunday. Sadly she will not be a guest at our feast. Even more sadly, nor will you and the real Wegg.

Arillas Today is just as inviting to me as ever. Beam me up Scottie. I have a pint of Mythos waiting for me in the Nut......

Thanks Mary. They even commented in the local this after - Jen and Phil just can't stop talking about it. I have made and decorated my 16th wedding cake. Ironed the candle wax off my suit trousers (long drunken story...) and sat in the local drinking lots of beer. Deep sigh - thats justphil then...

Will post a pic of Jen all done-up for the real event. Maybe even one of me. The last time she got that done-up the bride asked "Who is that woman Phil is kissing?" Needless to say, it was my Jen.

Aww Phil you have hidden talents a cake maker  so you are artistic too. I'd love to see a photo of your Jen all done up and I'm sure as you are looking very proud and your Jen will look beautiful as she does natural with no make up or glam clothes

Normal service has resumed in Arillas with wall to wall sunshine.  Am at the Splish Splash watching the swallows catching flying ants over the pool.  Isn't nature wonderful?
Sadly it's home today after two weeks in heaven.  Julia is already asking about booking for next year.
