I like that - Can't remember it but I like it! - Makis , my bestus neighbour in the world  will chuckle at this and call me "Uncle Fester"

Arillas Today has been a good 'un , but not many people to enjoy it. Temps around that 27/28 deg mark and no sign of rain. The exchange rate now hovers around e1.07 which does stick a small pin up your bottie when you want to sit down but, hey!
- Just adjust yer buttocks and the pain goes away.

I have a good feeling about next week and wish William Hill would give me 6/1 that it will be a hottie. ( Can I back it each way? )

Cheers

JohnTheRef&Dot

Eggy the one in the middle......... no thats the funny guy.....lol

Hope you are right about next weeks weather.
A hottie will do just nice

See you next week

Maggie

I'll bet it will be hot next week! I'll be in Scotland......

Eggy

Nice today Maggie - Maybe getting ready for your return. - Seewotyermissinglass!

27/28 deg but a quiet Arillas with just a few "wise ones" who took the gamble that quiet and laid back and peace would be happening this week.

Met Paul n Lise this pm who are soooo chilled out. Here for two weeks - Good stuff. Mick n Jill n Callum still enjoying but their week has flown by.
( Going home Friday? - Wotsallthat about )
Jill is a little bugger , by the way. I happened to mention to her that I do miss pork pies. - Wot 'appens then? - Her daughter has just arrived and, thanks to a phone call by Jill to her, prior to leaving, we are now the proud owners of 3 porky biggies.
Don't censor BUGGER Diimitris, 'cause she is one.

You guys out there leave me speechless And..... wots Mick doing? Averaging 75 a throw to beat me at darts? - Revenge Thursday evening , maybe.

Anyway.... the annonymous donour of goodies at Brouklis had been identified as Yvonne. - Thanks Yvonne - Must give you a slap, when we eventually meet, for being so nice.

Arillas peeps is really good all round and much fun had by all. Donchyerjustluvit?

Cheers All

26 / 27 deg here in Arillas today but with a breezy beach.
( Which didn't seem to put anybody off - Many beds and towels in use )

Obviously not as busy as it has been and plenty of space left for any latecomers.
It's a very good laid back time to be here.

Rumour has it that rain is forecast for the weekend. - Sorry guys - Just a rumour!

Cheers

riggers

Rain for the weekend ?? that is bad news for all those who are there then. Good news for us if it has gone by weekend. The temps are looking good too.

riggers..

Eggy

The wise ones of Arillas tell me :-

"Aaaah me'boy there's a storm brewing- I knows 'cause I seen all the signs afore!"
(Piece of hay not chewed here and no white smocks-Sounds West Country though)

Anyway, methinks is true, donchyerknow, as many guests were not walking around but seemed to be "hovercrafting" along. ( But quite merryley at that )
Only a miserly 21 deg at 6:39 and have had a few little 'ole snippets of wet stuff already. Tis got the weekend for the winds to blow away all our cobwebs and dat 'ole rain to give all our gardens a bonus. - Riggers and John R and All spoilt next week??

There is such a laid back life here now ( Thinks! - Said that before ) but ,at Night Owl, at lunchtime for example, many olives and bread were being shared by many excited Greeks who look forward to October and November.Very laid back for any guests too who joined in all in this jovial "non-understandable" banter. A rigourous Night Owl today!

Must go now as there is a heavy breeze outside and Wegg has just been blown away, probably to end up at Sidari.
(Not really, but it's blown our ladder over & plastic chairs are flying to our neighbour)

WHATEVER - Do we give diddley? - Nah¬!

Cheers All

I think the words are "bucketing down", and that's what its doing here in Kavaddades/Arillas at the mo. 19 deg at 10pm and just driven back from Sidari in a deluge of rain , thunder and lightening,  - Hmmm !- good job I could still see.
( Ouzo wot Ouzo)

22 deg in the house but a sneaky suspicion tell me that the heating may be activaed soon.  ( bummer! ) On the cards for a good week next week then?

Cheers
