Arillas Today

Arillas today is a little less hot and a lot less windy. It has said goodbye to John and Dot, and tomorrow "good riddance" to the Arillas hippies. The beach is peaceful and many are taking advantage. Smaller than last year but plenty to go round.

Forum members were very much in evidence at the Nut last night. A Magic Show which everyone I spoke to (that's a lot then) thought would be a must-miss, hate-the-very-idea etc, turned out to have an enthralled audience who all said how brilliant it was. And it wasn't noisy which is a bonus for many. Me? I'm a bit deaf anyway. Needless to say I missed most of the show nattering to Eileen, Annie, Wetty, John er,  etc etc etc.

I may remember enough to write a holiday report, but after reading TerryW's brilliant installments, I might just stay quiet.

Arillas Today will slowly be coming to terms that Phil n Jen are back to the UK tonite and Arillas tomorrow will miss them greatly.

A little rumour tells me that Phil was part of the " Nut Magic Show" and continually made " Black Russians" disappear. His party piece only
( Not many Black Russians holiday in Arillas - Even less now! )

Many forum friends missed again ,on my part, and many, who I bump into, only having a few days left.

A sad farewell to Phil n Jen, and looking forward, already to their return

Plenty of beach still to go round and, once again, being used to it's full potential, A mild breeze, and respectable temps which had to be round that 28/29 deg mark.
Good to see all local Tavernas.Bars Hotels etc etc sharing the Arillas guests.
Exchange sits at e 1.144 today - Sure to rise a twinge as August approaches.

Jo and "tribe" here Avrio to join those that have a smidgeon of their stay still to enjoy. It's an adventure for me, sometimes, to just stick the 'ole butt in the driving seat, point Peg towards Arillas and wonder who will be next on my hit list!

Eggy, Arillas cannot be as sad as we are to leave you all. But we have No 2 son's wedding to organise (that'll be a p*ss up in a brewery then....) and we still hang on to hopes we might make the last week of the season.

Our only real regret is that two weeks proved far too short for us to meet everyone and do everything. Our Anna and Tasos, tied as they are to looking after holidaymakers at Anna Studios, were a real miss for us. I have PM'd them, emailed them, told Theo to tell them, but it is not the same. Sorry luvvers.

Will try to report when we get back to England, but will never be able to capture what Arillas has done for us. Again.

hello everyone! Here I am in the coconut. Arillas is as beautiful as ever. Red hot, beach more than ok, walked to north beach no prob. This place gets better and better. My friends love it. Had gorge meals which is not good when you consider I have a blessing dress to fit into next week! Eggy, your darts are with dimitris as haven't bumped into you yet! Booked in for lamb on sun! Wow just having a ball folks. See you soon
