Nearly at the end of our week in Arillas :(  Today has been hot hot HOT! Dave is sporting somewhat red feet and knees! We've been out on the quads for the last couple of days and enjoyed seeing lots of beautiful Corfiot villages up in the mountains. Visited Aghios Georgios this morning but ended up returning to Arillas. Currently in George's where Dave is supping Mythos! He says it's the only way to go!!! Staying at the Akti - Spiros, Monika and family have been great! Eaten at Brouklis every night. Needless to say the food is out of this world - as is the company and attention of Dimitris, Nikos and Noufris - and of course, the beautiful Litsa and yummy yummy Spiros previously known as Bebis!!!
Dreading going home so time to relax now and make the most of the next two days! Love to all Arillas addicts x

Eileen

Sounds great Nicki!  Wish I was in Gorgeous George's now.

Enjoy your two last  precious days in Arillas.

Just love the image of cold Mythos dripping onto red knees.... I will see a lot of that in a few weeks time!

So glad you're both enjoying yourselves Nicki. Well deserved, and it's never long enough.

Arillas Today - hot, hot, hot!

Great night last night, meeting Eggy, riggers, PaulD, Heather and Sandy in the Coconut.  Robbie Williams impersonator, very good, but too loud to be able to speak to each other, so progressed to the Rainbow, where riggers beat Eggy at darts, 3-2.  Well done, John!!

Left Colin snoozing peacefully and took an early walk this morning to find a couple of guys opposite the Mirage, raking stones back to make way for the sunbeds on the sand.  It was certainly a first to arrive at the Bakery before they opened!!

Now at the Brouklis enjoying coffees and Kevin.g's and Dimitris's company.  Must be time  to hit the beach now!!!

Yammas to All,
lynn xx

I can tell y'all that our Lynn n Colin are having a pretty damm good time here.
This one was 2:30 this afternoon!

Again it's a very super Arillas today and we're all being spoilt by the weather and the freinds we make every year.

The beach is still there , albeit smaller, but does not seem to bother most people.
( Every one has a tan except me! - Wots that all about? )

.
I'm told it's a bit of a "wet knees" time to get to the naturist end of the beach but is well worth it. It's a twinge smaller but much more secluded.
I'm sure they now have sunbeds and brollies there? Hopefully some one here on hols will confirm that my eyes are not deceiving me.
(Or my one eye as I bounced a stone in the other, strimming the garden recently.I am now wearing sunglasses and using eyedrops to eliminate that "Terminator Look" )

Temps good all round, currently 29 deg here at 7pm, and exchange rate still better than the UK.

Paul n Maria are back and still using those ole legs visiting places which I sometimes think about. Was in Rainbow this afternoon with Graham n Julie and Colin n Lynn with a quick visit from Riggers. Then it pops Kevin G with a suprise to make us all smile.
Thanks to Phil n Jen who sent him orders to get the next round in compliments of them! - How nice is that? - We all drank your health , you two!

Haven't seen Paul D and lady since the Coconut escapade but sure to run into them soon. --- Not literally ! - I'm in enough trouble already on the car front.

Last night had the usual very good Brouklis meal and the good company of Robin n Mavis who are here for 2 weeks. Hope to see them again before they go.

M n M here on Monday and Sandy still pottering around trying to find any Tavernas that still have Retsina. - Stocks are running low donchyerknow!

All in all a pretty good day.

Cheers
Negg

Yammas all and thanks to our mate kev.g for helping us with it. (I will be getting the next flight to Rio.... er no, have taken out a new mortgage to pay for it all!) Joking aside kev, it was my round - will pay you as soon as you get back.

There is only one thing wrong with Arillas Today, Jen and me are not there. But a little bit of Arillas was had here today - we met with JC who is a regular visitor to Arillas - 8th coming up. We shared an Arillas style lunch in the garden of a pub halfway between her part of Somerset and ours. The conversation was totally Arillas, and we truly enjoyed her company for a while. A new friendship was born, and we will be seeing her again after we've been and before she goes. Would never have met without the forum...

Lynn and Colin you look like glamorous young jet-set couple in that picture! Treasure it and put it in the attic.... you will never get old!

Sunbeds and brollies at the north end? Whatever is the world coming to???? Never had it in my day....

Our best wishes to PaulnMaria, PaulD and Heather, Graham and Julie, riggers and Sue, Robin and Mavis, ah all of yous. And of course to our Sandy. It's a wonder the Retsina stocks have lasted this long.... Have you got a contingency plan luvver?

Thanks Eggy - it has been an Arillas day for us today too...
