Hi Mandy....so sorry to hear about your dad. I know just how you feel about him not seeing the villa. Whilst I was overjoyed that my dad was able to come with me to my house in April, it was also tinged with sadness because my mum had died last August so she never got to see it. But you know, some days when we were all sitting on the patio I liked to think a bit of her was with us and sharing in the pleasure and joy the place has given us.

I'm hoping to come out for a week at the beginning of October so may get to see you again this time.

So sorry Mandy about your dad at this sad time. I do hope you are able to have a rest and remember the good times when you are away.

Thanks everyone for your good wishes too. Dad is still in hospital.. He has been in almost all the wards except the Maternity! At least he is being monitored and checked every 1/2 hr and ok at the moment.

Mandy, so very sorry to hear about your Dad. He will be there in spirit and you will share many special memories along the way. So sorry for your loss.

It would be great to see you if you do happen to go over Sandy, i could see if Frank could do a bit of a B-BQ!
Hopefully we will get to see you as well Sharon, i'm sure we wont beable to miss that lovely smile as we go around Arillas!

I hope that your dad is felling better soon Blond girl. I know when my father was in hospital they were great and the level of care could not be faulted.

Hope you all have a great time. Sandy I really believe your Mum was there with you all and watching your Dad haveing such a good time with you. Mandy Im sure it will be the same with you.
Sharon im a bit dissapointed that it won't be us two going to C.F.R. this time but maybe we will be some of the first to go to the new premisis next year. Viv

Me too Viv, we had take the last week in sept because it was too soon to leave mum before that and the two weeks after that, other people are off work so I wouldnt have been able to take time off. Thats how come we are at the Akti, couldnt get in anywhere else that week. So it will be next May we'll visit the donkeys together.

OOo B----y Sandy, We really need this holiday. All doing quite well now and Michael and Zreena are both back at work and slowly coming round. Both Pete and I have had to put brave faces on as you know. Mums going to hospital on 18th to find out how they are going to treat her skin cancer, and Im not really concentraiting on anything except getting to Arillas for some very much needed R&R and no where better to get that. That senior moment seems to be turning into a senior few weeks but im sure we will all be rejuvenated again after our holidays. lol Viv
