Hi Caroline

Are you from Norwich or is it just your nearest airport.  I live in Thorpe.

There are several on this forum from the Norwich area.

Hope you have a lovely holiday.

Well... dad was taken back into hospital again today.. suspected heart attack AGAIN and they drained fluid off his lung AGAIN!  We have been told to still go on holiday as he will be ok in hospital... poor old thing he must be feeling so rotten and we shall feel rotten leaving him.  We had hoped he would be ok for at least a month, just goes to show you never know what is around the corner do you, we wont know what to do until the last minute now.
If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.

Oh Blonde Girl,

I'm so sorry to hear your news, you've certainly had it far from easy of late & just where you were getting to a point in looking forward to your holiday.
Firstly, I hope your Father makes a speedy recovery & this is nothing more than a bit of a 'blip'.
I know it must be very difficult about thinking about going away, but if the hospital are saying it's quite all right to do so, then maybe you should heed their advice?
I know, I know, far easier said than done but please know that I'm thinking of you all at this time & hope he's back on his feet very soon.

BeckyB xx.

Thanks Becky...each day as it comes as they say.

Oh yes, I forgot to say Mary, it's nearly time for your 'off'' isn't it?
I can only imagine how excited you must be feeling right now.
Hope you have a gorgeous time - & make sure you tell us all about it won't you!

Aw BG, really feel for you, just when you thought everything was okay, I know even though they say its okay to go and I would if were you, but you will worry while away, i'm just thinking of booking now for sept, because mum had a fall 5 weeks ago and fractured her hip, the wonderful nhs said it was badly bruised then 2 weeks later discoved it was broken!  So shes had an op and has just come out of hospital.

Fingers crossed for you BG, hope everything turns out okay

Blondegirl, we hope all goes well & we can meet you soon in a more relaxed & sunny environment.

It's 8:30 p.m. here & we're setting off for Newcastle airport @ 3:00 a.m. (picking up mum on the way). The packing is done & the tickets are in hand. Perfect time then to sit down in front of the telly with a cheeky little Coors..................not in this house it isn't. Maria's hurtling round vacuuming everything in sight. We don't want the burglars to think we're scruffy now do we ??? ??? ???

Marymary

ExactlyPaul and Maria that's why I've been doing housework tonight like a mad woman don't want the burglers to think they've invaded a tip, seriously though I'd be gutted if I got burgled. And thanks Becky B I am dead excited and this maybe my last holiday in Arillas for some time due to our mega British price increases so I'm going to make the most of it.

Love to all
and hope this time I meet some of the forum members and I will be posting a holiday report complete with photos

Love
Mary

It's a girl thing Paul - & by the time you get back (although my bets are you won''t want to leave) at least you'll have a lovely clean house to return to.

Hoping you have the best of times guys & really looking forward to hearing all about it :-)

3.00am eh? But then again, some things are worth getting up that early for aren't they?

Enjoy!
