John m8, we are also sad about that but hey-ho, we will all be back. I am going to try and tell the story next.

I apologise that my Arillas Today is actually Arillas Yesterday. I will start with the sunset, which was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. Some have good pics and will doubtless post in good time. It was as though Jean Walsh had spent the day painting the wisps of clouds on the sky, in wait for the orange and changing light to bring them to life. They never moved, but as the sun did, they created a community of grey wisps with ever growing red hair. The sea looked like milk, and then like magic, the clouds went to sleep. They became dark and the sun had finished its journey. Blew me away.

Meal at Thalassa was delicious, Exotic Beef. Totally tender chunks of beef in a sauce only Katerina could have made with gorgeous mushrooms. By the time we left, we had bumped into Dai and TerryW again, and bless them, Adrienne and Dave introduced themselves.

Off to the Nut where

Off to the Nut where Bob was entertaining an ecstatic audience as Neil Diamond. For once it was not me who initiated the Glastonbury Festival arm wave. Goodonyer lass. Many of Perry's Black Russians (I'm not admitting how many...) and meeting Tony and Louise rounded off another perfect Arillas Today. They had a special message for Jo Wissett. "The Marinaki Swing is getting used every day." Hadn't a clue why he said this....... lmao.

I'll turn to Arillas Today, now. More than a bit sketchy this morning, we have done almost nothing. 2 Mythos at 6pm, and one more with another delicious meal at Graziella. Then kalinichta. But in the meantime we had some thunder and lightning, more promised for overnight.

I believe it is God making up for the indescribably beautiful sunset we had last night.

A more typical Arillas Today post. God knows how long I have been putting these pics together on a strange computer, in a strange..... Shut up Phil. And when I look now, they aren't that appropriate. Aaaaargh!

The exchange rate received today was 1.26.

The weather has had a sticky turn, ie it is still hot (34 C at 6pm) but not the glorious dry heat of last week. Everyone is moaning, or just getting on with the delights here. I fall into the latter group. Much Mythos and aircon is being provided so it can't be all bad. The price is between 2.50 euros to 3. Same price as I remember from several years ago.

Time for a pic....

The extended Bardis family has grown to fill every room in the place and they are discussing putting George into a tent lol!

PhilnJen have renewed and started many friendships, not least with Hana. Another pic....

But to complete my time here, the stunning sunset of night before last. Forgive if the days are wrong. We have forgotten all about that sort of stuff - time, days etc etc.

I rest my case.
Phil

Great stuff Phil! Glad you are all having a good time.

Not long for me now, and again, like I've said previously, it's a pity I'll miss you. But, as long as there is an Arillas, I'm sure we'll meet again in the future sometime! :)

I just wrote another justphil version of Arillas Today, and thought it might be the best yet. But as I hit post it was lost. I should have done it in Notepad, but didn't. So many things going on here, and I can tell yous about a few. Pissed off describes how I feel about that.

Sorry folks it will be Arillas Whenever from now until after we go abroad. I will bore you all again then, for my own gratification.
