Erja meluvver, they wished so too. Many kind things being said about you all over the place. Can you give lessons to a hapless Arilliac like me?

Arillas today might have passed me by after a stunning evening in more senses than one. We chose, yet again to simply chill back at base, and what a lovely base we have. But everyone is telling us what they are up to.

The sun is shining. (We noticed that.) There is a little breeze. (We noticed that as well.) Everyone is complaining that the exchange rate is going up to dizzy heights (1.25 or more. We paid our bill today and Bobby said "Thanks for letting my mum go shopping in the Sales." Little b****r that he is.)

We all have plenty of whatever we want, in my case iced glasses full of my amber nectar. Many are taking full advantage of a very warm sea, and acres of sand. It is in different places than I remember from 10 years ago, but still here.

Arillas Today should have got fed up with drunken old men giving half of the population big hugs. But they haven't. Like lemmings, they keep coming back for more. Have to make certain I put the "Right Guard" on before I go out.....

Yes, Arillas Today is, well, Arillas.

Adjunct to previous post. The kids (all over 60, some by quite a bit) are making a riot in Bardis pool. I heard more laughter last night, but it's A close call. Moi? Unsophisticated, voddie frappe on the balcony justwatching. Hard work but... YES! I have to do it!!!!

Nobody will ever do it better than you Eggy. But I'm glad to give you a well earned break.

The problem with my reports is that they all say the same thing, and everyone knows what I think about being here.

I just met a man on a motorbike, who screeched to a halt, turned back and said Hello. I didn't know whether to run, but thought charm might be my best escape. I lie, because it was JohnB and he tells me that my posts are best when I get back from the pub on Sundays. 50 shades of something, but I'm not earning the money that she is....

Thank you for bothering John. It only takes 5 minutes to start a friendship. And if you come to Arillas they last forever.

Arillas today is........... perfect, but last night was even better.

I was invited to attend the festival just the other side of Magoulades as a family friend, and what a great experience. Surely nowhere does hospitality better than Greece, and nowhere in Greece does hospitality better than Arillas.

all these reports are just fantabulous!! For all those poor (POOR) creatures like us that aint going this year it is the very next best thing!! So glad that you are having a ball Phil and jen and Dai your night sounded amazing xxx keep em coming! I have also just received a message from 'Weeze8' who informs me that my swing is back in situ!! Happy days (well they would be if I was in said swing with a glass of the chilled stuff...)

Jo meluvver, PhilnJen have not yet crossed the road to Marina or beyond. We have been here a week, and have SO MUCH yet to do. Very few have seen us twice, and some to their delight, not at all.

I can't report on Marinaki because I haven't bl**dy got there yet. Kaloudis looks like October if they are still open when we come back.

We nattered to Dai in Graziella yesterday. What he says about his wonderful evening was so obviously going to be a highlight. They can be even better before they become real. Thanks for your company Dai. It is valued.

If Arillas tonight is exploding it will be without us. We are friggin TIRED with being happy, eating Thomas's fish at Vavilas and generally taking advantage. Arillas is tiny for some. For us it is like the big city. And Dimitris Kourkoulos is our president.

This is our second year of not being in Corfu after seven years on the trot staying in Arillas. Have been keeping an eye on the website though. The more we read and see on the site has made us determined to return next year.We have definitely missed the friendly atmosphere of the whole place. Just to be able to stand on the beach and take in the sites and sounds of Arillas would be great.

Arillas Today maybe reported upon very late. It is 1.12pm and I have only been up for the 12 minutes, most of those under the shower. I do try to have done or seen something before I post or what have I got to say that I don't rattle on about anyway?

I think my Mythos is calling me, so yammas folks.

At this rate Arillas Today will be Arillas Yesterday.

The temperature is high, Phil is high, and the company is higher (in my esteem.) So many stories of past times here in my adopted home, from where they stayed to what they did. But all full of joy, treasure and happiness. When I hear a bad thing I will make it headline news on here but I guess that is unlikely.

Bardis Sun is completely full, and here we have chatted with so many amazingly Arilliac people, who inevitably have been here longer, stayed more often than us, but unlike windbag here, don't write it all down and post it.

I couldn't find a cloud to take a picture of, so just look at the w-e-b- cam. The weather is PERFECT. The Mythos is PERFECT. And justphil? I'm simply the best........... Or in fact, that is how Arillas Today makes me feel. Like it is doing to "everyone I've ever met."

get yer song sheets out, I have a feeling they will be playing that one in the Nut tonight......

Sharon meluvver, slow down!!! I can't leave here without trying every one of those goodies but we need more time. Have applied for a lottery grant, but......

At this stage I CAN report that the Sea Bream at Vavilas was the best food I have eaten so far, but it is amongst total competition. My new shorts no longer tie up properly around my ever maturing Arillas belly.

Sorry, I haven't taken pictures. Even of the food. But 7 meals, 7 successes.
