Arillas Today with a tolerable 14 deg although the sea tells a different story.

Not many people around as they are all preparing for "Clean Monday" when many kites will be flown.

And... there is plenty of beach for all to share.

As well as Armourada and what used to be the creperie,, there may be a few extra places open tomorrow to cater for those "Hungry Kiters".
Here's hoping the rain keeps away.

Sunny & bright in Eastbourne today.

   Fairly warm here in Swansea today, with little cloud. ( Could be Arillas weather? Or maybe not!!).

Don't think the morning kite flying will happen Sara.
A few ouzos for me this PM though and I hope to be as high as one!!!

Overnight rain plus on n off drizzle this morning certainly makes it a clean Monday. - No kite pics - Sorry - Not venturing outside today.

The weather certainly won't dampen the spirits of our Greek pals though.
Probably, by now, families are enjoying the first day of lent. No meat or dairy products and only shellfish , I believe.
(For moi though it's roast pork n crackling n Treacle pud/cream for after)

Outside temp of 10 deg, at 11:40 am. but I reckon that, with the new super duper Armourada log burner,guests will be eating in "Bermudas" and short sleeve shirts!!
