The biggest thank you has to go to Chris Jenkins alias "Gringo"

He and wife Ang are good pals of Rainbow and spent time there, last Summer. Many of us enjoyed a game, or two with him. A Welsh county player and hard man to beat. On their return to Wales Chris sent/donated to us many trophies for the League, all at his own expense.
(Most of these have now become perpetual, to be fought for each year)
I think he will recognise his awards when I do the Owl pic. We look forward to him and Ang returning this Summer.

" New kids on the block!!!!! "

Petros and brother Spiros, sons of Owl Nickos and Owlettes Linda are showing they will be a force to be reckoned with, next Winter, in the NTS Darts League.

Petros, seen above, entered his first "Open Singles" K/O at Sunset Bar,Agios Stephanos, and won through the first two rounds taking the scalps of seasoned league players, Pavlos and Roger from Armourada.

He then met brother Spiros, in the semi final........................

Having won 20 from 21 pairs games and 6 from 6 singles games, brother Spiros had a very successful Winter campaign behind him and this experience took him through to the final.
(Maybe a good thing for Petros as he did have school in the morning!)

Spiros then met Owl, Makis, in the final.
With a 14 from 14 singles in the Winter, and current holder of the NTS singles knock out, it would have taken a bulldozer to stop Makis. - Another title for Makis and the Night Owl.
And...... A few more trophies on the shelf.

There was a rumour that, Nickos,Night Owl is so proud of all his Team's awards that he does not want to be parted from them

I now know this is true!!!



But, don't worry folks!. Linda made sure he wasn't left on the shelf when she married him and very soon, as Summer approaches, he'll be flying around that kitchen of his.

Thanks Eggy, Just read the  whole thread in one. Best thriller I've read in ages! Don't know how I didn't spot it before. Great to hear about familiar folk like Capt. Bob and Penny, Makis, Spiros and Dmitris from Rainbow and of course your wonderful self. Thanks too for the photos. Superb.Think I recognised the Rainbow dartboard .
Dave and I are practising and hope we see you for a game Aug / Sept.
