Nice reporting once again Eggy Go Armourada!

But in the nicest possible way , of course! Their 11-0 punishing of Owlettes, allowing them to only win 1 leg, has firmly roosted them to an unbeatable 3rd Winter win.
(Although such a result against partners/wives may see them suffer over the long term)

Three W's, being especially nice people, won 10-1 and 20 legs to 6, over the Wild Women and have probably, very diplomatically, ensured a peaceful home life.

The Armour clash saw the "Plated" team secure a very nice 8-3 result but not enough to challenge for the top spot.

All Teams will now, I'm sure, have their own targets to meet over the next 4 matches.
Armourada will strive to finish above Armour Plated in the league.
Three W's will fight on to secure 2nd spot for the third season but will have to watch out for the Armour duo who will both be after points.
W's and both Armour sides will still be looking to beat those pesky Owls. A feat that only Armourada have done this winter
Owlettes and Wild Wild Women will surely be fighting to see who does not finish at the root of the table. So, watch this space folks.

"Armour Plated nailed on for 11-0 but............"
Owlettes never say die and took the last two games, taking a valuable two points away from "Eggies Boys".
With the Armourada "A" quartet of Gary,Senan,Jean and Heather beating the Wild Ladies of Three W's 10-1, the question asked now is:-
"Which "Armour" Team will finish above the other??"
Night Owl, however, march fearlessly on and brushed Three W's away with a 10-1 win.
( Although they admit that many games went 2-1 and it was a lucky result! )

It's all private battles now and Armour Plated will look to pluck those Owls next week.
(They do have a 30 point lead so can afford to give some points away)

Loving these reports Eggy. Our (premature) cogratulations to Night Owl. But like others, I too am waiting to see which Armourada team ends above the other. Lots of potential for fallings out there I guess... (but always good hearted I expect.)

Almost (I said almost ) sad to see winter over, and the end of the darts for another summer. But somehow I still can't wait for the holiday season to begin...

At 4-0 down, and then pulling back to 4-2, Armour Plated were on target for a come back. But the Owls pairs duo of Rainbow Dimitris and Capt Bob then made it 5-2.
It was then down to Armenades neighbour Paul to clinch yet anoher victory for Capt Bob's Birdies. He duly obliged and the Owls can now sit back and begin to taste the league winners trophy. - Final result 9-2 for the Owls
It was a night of yet another 100% singles record crashing, this time thanks to Armours Doug beatng Owls Makis. This leaves Night Owls Nickos as the only unbeaten singles player in the league with 12 wins from 12, his last two wins being at the expense of Armours Negg and Derek.
Armourada "A Team" players will surely be after his scalp when they next meet.

Unfortunately, not against each other.
Owlettes flocked together as a team,last night to beat the Wild Women of Three W's with a 10-1 win which takes them off the bottom of the table.
A very nice feather in the hat for Owlettes and look out Amour Plated and Night Owl as those Wild Ladies will now surely be looking for revenge in their last two games.
( Maybe Nickos will lose his 100% singles record?? )

Well said Sandy. Ain't that just the point? Eileen once pointed out the "Not Too Serious" aspect of it all. But it is brilliant to watch, sat in Armourada, eating gorgeous food, and just joining in the fun. All power to their elbows....

You're absolutely right Phil (as usual!)
I first met Eggy a while ago when I stumbled across him in the 3W's in the middle of a darts match. Now darts means about as much to me as it does to Eileen, but everyone was having such a great time and in true Corfiot fashion it was involving everyone in the bar - friends and strangers alike. I had a very enjoyable evening and left knowing no more about darts, but feeling as though I had been in the company of life-long friends.
Thats Corfu !

A wise W's Captain called Al
shrewdly played his team very well
And at 6-1 down
It made the Plated lot frown
So......
They then started to thrive
With the final result? ...6-5.

A good and fair result from a very good and enjoyable evening but the narrow winning margin does neither team any favours.
"Sister" team Armourada now move into 2nd spot after a very fine 11-0 win over Owlettes. (Poor Claire, Owlettes 2 treble 20's - Where did that 3rd dart go???)
It will be very interesting next week with:-
Armourada 94 points - Three W's 91 - Armour Plated 85.
WHO WILL FINISH RUNNERS UP TO NIGHT OWL WITH ONLY 1 MATCH LEFT??
