Dimitra Apartments

In 2006 Pete and I stayed at Dimitra Studios.  They were lovely, clean, spacious, airy apartments and the owners were so friendly and helpful. (We especially LOVED the view at the back of the apartments....A small holding ...brilliant to wake up to the sounds of goats and hens!!)

We have booked to stay there again in July 08 and we are really looking forward to coming back to Arillas.

These apartments seem to be ignored by the forum members (We were the only people staying there for the whole two weeks we were there and the Dimitri web site only has one other guest book entry in it!!!!)

Also, Dimitri Apartments used to have their apartment on Arillas.com but it's not advertised any more.

Anyone shed any light on this?

Do you mean Dimitra studios? http://www.dimitrastudio.gr/

If yes, then I must say that the pictures of Arillas and area that are used on Dimitra's website have been offered from me.
The reason why the studios are not advertised like some others has to do with the advertising policy of Mrs Dimitra.
However, the studios are listed on the maps of Arillas.com  linking directly to the website.

I don't remember this ,,, I;m sure they have never been advertised anywhere else except the maps.

Yes, sorry I meant Dimitri Studios!

How very strange.  It is such a waste to keep these lovely apartments just for the sole use of Pete & I!

Looking forward to coming back to Arillas and eating in The Brouklis again....er we never quite made it to any of the other restaurants.........

Hi Jane and Pete,

Thanks for drawing attention to Dimitra Studios :-)

It's not really that we have ignored the studios it's just that nobody has mentioned them before and I'm sure that a lot of people didn't even know of their existence.

It's so nice to read a new review, but now that you have let your little secret out of the bag I'm sure you won't have them all to yourselves from now on ;-)

Ha! Ha!  Oh no!  What have I done?  I hope it's not crowded now in July!!!!!

There is an unwritten rule for all people coming to "our Dimitra Studios"!  You have to be over 50, quiet, boring, dislike loud banging music and leave your children at home!!!

(Only joking!)

Quite agree about these studios, e-mailed Dimitra for accommodation this year for 8 of us (most of us over 50, no loud music etc!) but had no reply so had to look elsewhere.

How very strange to get no reply........

I know we had a bit of a struggle with the language.  I speak a little Greek and they spoke just a bit of English. 

I wonder if they are a bit nervous of a large groups?

Sandy has the bottle to say it but lover, I can shyly follow on

 - you make Anette Crosbie not even look like herself. You are the spitting image (no insult - It think she is beautiful and an amazing actress) and she has played some of the greats.

And a phrase like "I do not believe it" can only make us think you are, in fact, Maragret and Victor Meldrew...

Be there in Arillas this summer and wow us by just being there.
Everywhere is good in Arillas. Ibiza it ain't...

I have just checked the Arillas calendar and you leave on 21st July.  Victor & I don't arrive until the Saturday after....  That's a shame we will miss you!

Victor and I have had enough of Spain, we thought we would come and see what trouble we can get up to in Greece........
