Really enjoyed watching events unfold on Survival Sunday in the Nut!

Three screen Man Utd Spurs and Wolves .... was like watching tennis back and forth. Good atmosphere and nice "MIX" of supporters!!

No Liverpool fans there to witness Michael Owen being presented with his Premiership medal unfortunately but we can't have everything.....

Light the blue touchpaper and stand well back !!!  hehehehe

Cheers Nan xx

Still a very quiet "Arillas Today" which worries me but does not worry those here still enjoying a 28 deg in the shade at 5:30pm.

A beach which still has much to offer and..... add that to good food, all around,  still being offered. Have I died and gone to heaven peeps?.
(Rabbit Stiffado at Armourada the other night - Wowie Zowie)
Now I sound like David Bowie? - Wotsallthatabout?
Maybe I do - Nah nah! - Do I care?

Anyway, it's a quiet North Corfu all round but everybody is still giving 150% to ensure all have a pretty damm good time and go home with super memories of a super break.

Today I've visited Night Owl and I've seen the Rainbow Boys and I've seen a busy Brouklis and I ended up at Three W's (Stephanos) for some darts
Now?-Well!-Enough is enough for one day. Roast Chickie at Kavaddades 2 night

Who will win the darts K/O avrio? - Who cares! - Good fun is 1st priority.
Cheers

This one is for Phil:
"The sun is out, the sky is blue, there's nothing here to spoil the view, but it's raining, raining in my heart."
And why is this? Because I'm not in Arillas, of course!
"Oh, misery, misery..."

Ah, what can I say? You're right of course, but there is always a silver lining in my black cloud. I can always day dream about my times there, whatever else is weighing me down. Not everyone is as lucky as that.

Thanks Emeralddragons. A lovely thought!

It's HOT HOT HOT !!!!

30 degrees YES 30 degrees not  THREE DEGREES .....they sang "When will I see you again?"

It has been a lovely day.

The sea has shimmered and sand has been warm.

The pool was inviting and the beer cold.

The roses were scented and cut especially for me by a lovely man who then presented them to me after I had done my shopping...awwwwwww....sweet!

Don't you just love Arillas and it's only May.

Looking forward to the Seabass tonight which will be delicious I'm sure

Bliss perfect bliss

I could live without the roses, but all the rest (and in particular the sea bass) sounds just perfect. Enjoy, enjoy

Touch paper lit

At least little Michael has finally got a medal to put with ALL those he won when with Liverpool, but spending 9 months of the season watching doesn't make it mean much.

PS Only joking.  What will the bars be showing this summer when there's no football?  Personally I prefer the beach and Mythos [and Corfu beer] to watching football when I'm on holiday.  Can't wait, counting down the months, then the weeks, then the days.
Take it easy everyone.

Ha ha mythos2. Last summer (or was it the one before? it's all a blur now...) poor ole Stammatis was doing afternoons in the Nut, and had to endure Mama Mia about ten times. Even I would prefer the football to that! Jen and me kept him company, but we had to sit outside while the fans watched in delight. Mind you we loved Pirates of the Caribbean over cold Mythos in there some afternoons. Took three sessions to see it all in the end.

Have a good one.
Phil

You're welcome, Phil. Keep up the good work promoting our Arillas!
Emeralddragons
PS: Realized I misquoted Buddy Holly, should have been "there's not a cloud to spoil the view".
But I guess it doesn't matter any more... E.

Aaahhhhhh , The 'ole Arillas Today is back again.

Very relaxed and subdued at 1 ish folks.

Temps around 26 deg and all this space just craving for a few bodies to keep it company. - The beach is all dressed up and has no one to appreciate it.
BUGGER - WOTSALLTHATABOUT. - Count those days off people!

At least this very well known character is still smiling.

Shuda zoomed this one - It's Petros who looks after the boats.

About 2:30 ish there was a smattering of light rain which obviously felt a twinge guilty it was annoying people so vanished as discreetly as it appeared.
Now sitting with a 29 deg shade at just past six.

Met and enjoyed various chats with many peeps today.- Just like the 'ole days.

Finally the jetty is still missing something. I am still pestering the "powers".
(I think I will be deported soon if I pester too much!)
