Arillas is wonderful!

Sorry this is brief but the sun beckons.....

Phil and Jen, John and Dot....enjoyed their company immensley...mad as hatters!  On Saturday we talked the hind legs of a herd of donkeys!

Alexandros apts....spent 3 nights there, wonderful as usual.  Came away laden with fruit, salad ingredients and eggs...Koula is such a kind lady...please pm me if you want details.

Egg and Wegg....well you just can't beat a bit of Egg'n'Wegg!!! Love 'em :-)

Sharon's Pool Bar....spent a few hours there yesterday morning...Sharon has a great set up there...we'll be back.

Brouklis....fantastic Spit Roast lamb on Sunday....that young man gets more handsome every year...

Yiota, Perry, Costas, Hannah...great to see you all again...wonderful ambassadors for Arillas.

Erja....at long last I can pronounce your name...it took a few drinks and many tries but eventually I mastered it!  Thanks Phil'n'Jen.

So much...so little time...

Eileen.xxx

Erja, youre name seems to be a topic of conversation this season. We were talking about you as well (nothing bad i promise ). Couldnt remember how to pronounce but knew it wasnt as its spelt. As luck would have it another Finnish girl came into the nut so I wrote it on my fag packet and asked her how it was pronounced. She was called Wilma, that was an easy one.

Arilas Today has gone from cool (if you call 29 degrees that,) breezy and fashionable to HOT, daft and sweltering. My eyebrows have failed right now at 8pm. Either that or they have fallen out from Mythos poisoning. It must be 38/40 degrees.

Many, many bodies on the beach today. Including mine and Jen's. It was half a dozen wades to the North end, but I made it while Jen tried to pretend she understands "bench culture." She tried to keep it warm but ended up sipping ice cold drinks in Thalassa.

I crawled behind my rock.  I know my place. And I was only disturbed by two young men and a young woman (yes, they were German - even I know enough language to be certain) who were getting far too up-close-and-personal with green mud. The invitation to join in was politely refused. I think they were better off without an Arilliac Ole Git....

Arillas Today is fabulous, busier and hot. Can't  wait to get back to England

lol

Lisa, we are using Sterling travellers cheques and getting 1.15 after commission, ie £100 = 115 euros in your hand. That is with our friend Olga. I think Arkokal is slightly less.

Hope it helps
Phil

I quite expected our Eggy to post this. Phil is to blame if something has gone wrong.

Your Arillas Today is HOT but the breeze has kept most of us sane. Maybe not me. Eileen was not wrong about "mad as hatters."

Brouklis is busy gearing up for an invasion of girlies. All of the sexy single boys are standing in a line outside, hoping for a good night. And if I were still their age so would I, at the front of the queue like the wine festival.

Arillas Today is alive and kicking. And I for one am so glad.
Phil

Our Arillas Today wll be in September, but will probably be the same, only a bit cooler.
Phil, you mentioned pebbles on the north end, but is there plenty of sand? If it`s too stony, we`ll use the south end.

Neil, your posts are a great pick-me-up and we love reading them, written in your unique style. Long may they contine.

To everyone else still in Arillas Today, continue to enjoy paradise. 8 weeks and counting.
