It's good to hear news and chat, makes me want to go back NOW! Good to hear groundworks are under way Neil, Pegg will have an easier time! And a belated Happy Anniversary for Sennan and Jean if you're lurking.

Always lurking and a wonder I have not been arrested yet! - Wishes will be passed on to Jean n Senan on Tuesday when we meet them for darts.

Viv.
The car tax for older cars is 162 euros a year. ( 50 euros more than the 7 yr old Pug)
Insurance is lower though - 232 euros per year which covers any driver, providing they can drive , of course.

9 deg here at 7;30 pm and a bit drizzley. - Not cold though. Drove to Arillas at 7pm and not a soul did I meet. - eeeeerieeeeee.

Cheers
Negg

Arillas Today ? - And I'm on to a reporters "scoop" here.
I have found a secret organisation that welcomes all Arillas Addicts.
.

.
Are you a Corfu Nut Phil?

I got to Arillas beach around 4pm and that 'ole wet stuff was happening again.
All still looking good though and just another face of Arillas.
.

.

Why didn't I get to the beach by 4pm - You may inquire? - Well a 2 hour session n the Armourada with Senan ( Hubbie of Jean ) and other Amourada dart players was in order.
We all sorted out global problems and are now putting together next years plan of action. - (Should we get elected )
Back there tomorrow evening for a crucial darts match so Global problems will have to take a back seat.

Temp here is 12 deg at 6 pm but a generous dose of Ouzo this afternoon, followed by a whisky in hand, as I sit here, and HEY! - wotdoesitmatter!?

Tis still a good place to be and a last nights ( Sunday) meal with Maggie n Gordon, at Night Owl, cemented that. Wotta luvley place to be with luvley company.

Eggy n Weggy are fortunate people - Donchyerknow.
Cheers All.

Thanks for a great report Neil. Is that the same van that had a loud speaker on top last summer?

At per-cise-ally 15:01 hrs , this afternoon, the skies opened and hit us with Thunder, ligtening, more rain than Noah ever saw plus hailstones thrown in/down for good measure.
A little snippet of one of our veggie borders for you all.
.

This was after 2 minutes and now, at 15;12 with no sign of any break, you can imagine what it looks like now. ( Always wanted a swimming pool )

Meanwhile, Megg, being a calm female takes it all in her stride.........

...... Whilst Homer, ponders two things.
1. Why does Megg hate me? - and....
2. If you think I'm going out in that!

And Arillas today? - I would like to think they are having as much fun there as we are having here. Many rivers to cross tonight to get to my Darts Match , me-thinks.

Cheers all from soggy North Corfu where, at 15:31, it's now starting to quiet down outside. ( With just a few rumbles in the distance - Y'all cum back now ye'hear )

Meggy and Homer couldn't care less! Lovely pics Eggy. Sorry about the veggies - maybe give the bed a good stir and make soup?

Good luck with the darts tonight.

Phil

(As for come back.... you can't get rid of PhilandJen that easily! Would still rather be where you are right now... rain or not)

Happy Days Phil.

The football track, to our house, is now virtually impossible to drive. And, if it was, we couldn't drive it at he moment as our bank has collapsed , halfway down our drive.
And..., just before that, the bank has weakened and we have an overhanging tree ready to block our path a twinge more.

JCB being organised for tomorrow morning. Next problem being, where do we put all this excess soil?

All this after a 30 minute torrent. Very glad it didn't last an hour!
Cheers

Sorry all if I sounded flippant. I am serious though that I would rather be there, rain or not. Had nothing else but rain here anyway and it will probably freeze tonight. I hate icy roads early in the morning....

I sincerely hope the damage is not as bad as it sounds Eggy. And Sandy, likewise.

very best wishes
Phil
