Took a gander at your Villa today and looking good. It's weathered the storm very well

Another thank you Negg. I do worry when I read about the storms, lightening, land slides & even earthquakes.

.....................................

Poor little Homer. I hope he won't feel too sore afterwards. Not sure about the jar business though Negg - Ugh!!!!!

The last post on Arillas Today was mine (surprise surprise) on 22 November. Has Arillas not had any Todays since then?

The webcam seems to agree with this. All I got was "Ready." (Am I ready for what??? "Brace yerself Sheila???")

May be past the season, but I feel sure Arillas is still there having Todays. At least I sincerely hope so. Has the sea now reclaimed the land from Kaloudis to Sea Breeze?

Maggie and Gordon must be having Arillas Todays. Would love to hear about them, however domestic and mundane those Todays are. Yous are living our dream and one day we will join you. I would so love to be walking the length of Arillas beach (in my fur coat of course - I don't do cold...)

Phil and Jen's Arillas Today would have been a late breakfast (about 1130 am) then a long (very slow) stroll along the seafront, hand in hand discussing Christmas presents on eBay or Amazon. A waddle up to Amourada to share an evening meal with that gorgeous family. Then visit Spiros and Monica in Akti and join in with whatever was happening. Home to voddie frappe and YouTube (there is always something else if the power is off...) And our Arillas Tomorrow would be simple and quiet. There will always be somewhere to socialise a bit. We have met others who live there and seem to be busier than we ever are. Oh yes. Arillas Today and Tomorrow.

Phil

(BTW Eggy, this is not about you. Your hard work keeping us all up with things on Arillas Today is very much appreciated by us and very many others and long may it continue.)

Phil, we are having some very busy todays! I haven't actually been near the sea for a week now. We've been building a porch at our front door, cos the rain was getting in. (well, Gordon built it, i gave it a coat of paint!) We didn't have internet for 3 days last week, so, maybe thats why the webcam hasn't been working.
Now we must think about christmas! The christmas lights are up now around Arillas. (did you know that they put lights up). There's some on the lamppost at Tria adelphia corner. If I can remember how to do pictures, I might have a go at posting some. Haven't done any since I've been here, I don't think.
Would you like to see the lights??????
If I can't manage, maybe someone else will do it.

P.S. you won't need the fur coat..... it's not that cold!

Yes please Maggie, it would be great to see Arillas at Christmas time. Could you also try to take one of Eggy when he comes round Carol Singing.

Glad to see you still keeping Gordon busy :-)

The weather is looking great - I could put up with 17 degrees & sunny in early December!!!.

Love the photo Terry. A good form of transport home after a few Christmas ouzo's, don't you think Eggy? & Phil & Jen - I like the sound of your Arillas Today's & Tomorrow's - Bliss.

Excellant to see Arillas today re-generated.

And Terry...... Great to see me in my latest invention. - A portable Jacuzzi!

As Maggie says , it's been a busy 'ole time here recently and, for myself and Wegg, the only "HOe HOe HOe..ing" , leading up to Xmas, has been in the garden.
We're having a super duper high retaining wall built to hold back a slightly dodgy grass bank and much work being done to our muddy 'ole drive.
The occassions I've popped into Arillas and seen a worthy pic, worth taking, are the occassions the camera is at home.
B****R ! - A word I use a lot in our darts matches recently.

So, what else can I tell you?
Maggie n Gordons Porch looking good ( Porch Terry , not Porsche )
When I saw the work that Maggie and Gordon have put in, over the Summer, I feel embarassed I haven't got off my butt to do more here!

The very high "Grass Bank" , to the right of Mon Amour collapsed, a while ago, under the heavy onslaught of rain, and the road was closed.
The Greek philosophy here is " Now we have a wider road" - Very true and wise words.
The same applied when a tree came down and closed the Armenades road.
Free firewood for all who got there first!

Last Sunday saw the christening of Peri's little one. (Perii from Coconut) I'll leave it to Peri to tell you his sons name, when you see him in the Summer.
That Sunday evening Olympiakos beat Panathiakos 2-0 in the football so many sad faces at the Night Owl and Three W's. 2 smiling faces from the Rainbow though!
( Now , who could that be? ) - And will Nickos @ Night Owl still serve 'em?

The public road, leading to our house has taken a real battering recently and our pals car got stuck in the mud the other evening. ( Pulled out next day )
But.... good 'ole 10 year old PEGG ( Punto) nips up and down quite smartly.
I sometimes feel that this car drives by memory and knows where it's going!

Brouklis House ( Dimitris ) moving forward in leaps and bounds and looking good.

We met Dimitris and Litsa, the other evening, when we attended Jean and Senons 30th Wedding Anniversary party at the Armourada.
( Jean as known for her super paintings - Senon as known for his missed doubles)
......................NOT MIXED DOUBLES LIKE YOU PHIL!..........................................
Great evening and what a spread Armourada laid on! - Twas like a well oiled military exercise and so many courses. - Gold stars to Leon, Vassilis and family for making Jean and Senon's evening, and all the guests, one to remember.
( Good food, good wine and good company at a very good place to be )
PEGG got home, once again, by memory.

Homer and Megg continue to hate each other and it's like working shifts in your own space. One comes in the front and we quickly let the other out the back. Homer eats more than we do and treats me like a walking vending machine. I'm thinking of changing his name to "Tubber" ( Tub o Lard )
A very affectionate puss though and is obviously being missed greatly by someone.

So..... I feel like Chicken Tonight, as the ad goes, so it's a settle down time and I promise to keep that camera in the car, - With replacement batteries , of course.
Cheers All
Negg
