Sounds very nice Jebbo! Sunny day in London town today but I would rather be slurping beer there in Arillas :)

Thank you for the update!
Life is good ;)

Well, today is the end of my stint as roving reporter as , sadly, I am away back to the UK tomorrow morning.

Today, however, has been absolutely glorious. Managed to find a little bit of beach that had not washed away and spent time soaking up the sun and swimming in a surprisingly warm sea.

Some good waves around too, so daughter and I having great fun.

Followed that with a late (and quite long) lunch at Ammos just watching the sea, which can be quite mesmerising... or maybe the beer had something to do with that ;-)

We will be enjoying a final meal in the Brouklis this evening then finishing off in the 'Nut'.

Pretty much the perfect end to a(nother) very enjoyable week in Arillas.

Roll on next season :-)

My thanks to all those (too many to mention) people who have looked after us again so well, and thanks to Eggy for suggesting I try my hand as roving reporter. I have enjoyed my week.

Julie & Graham, sorry to have missed you too, but there is always next time.

Wishing all you good people a speedy return to Arillas. Enjoy your winter as best you can.

Jebbo (& Daughter)

Were there any "Ohi Day" celebrations in Arillas, today or does the day pass with just parades in the larger towns?

Thanks for your reports jebbo and Eileen.

Terry,

I was there and thus clearly not here, but now I'm here and most sadly not there......

We were lucky enough to win two prizes in the recent darts team raffle - a bottle of whisky donated by the Night Owl and 2 hours free Internet access at the Three W's.  I really should have used the Internet prize to write an on the spot report but my excuse is Liam elbowed me out of the way to play on line games!

No excuses needed Eileen luvver. A retsina haze is far more appealing to me than all the rest. Always wondered why Eggy and Dimitris never asked me to be on the spot, but then I knew really. I couldn't stand on a spot long enough to be on it! And goodonyer. I didn't do a report this year either. I live there don't I?

I am clearly not there, but I'm not here either. Where am I?

love to you and Keith

LOL Phil...without a doubt I'd need a few retsinas in me before attempting to answer that conundrum..even then I'd come up with a lot of nonsense...what fun that would be!
