I love to watch storms. My idea of heaven would be to sit on the balcony watching a right bute kick off.
Saying that. I hope they have all gone by Monday morning, thats when we fly in.
I flew in a storm when we were going to Zante in 87 and it was not good.
It was my wifes first flight and i had a hell of a job getting her back into an airyplane after that trip.

Yes I agree.
I was most upset on Monday morning when I discovered there had been a storm.
I would have loved to sit out taking photos.

Unfortunately I had been saying goodbye to Corfu Sunday night. After a huge lam roast I washed it down with Ouzo,  7 star Metaxa and Mythos.
Some say I was out of it. But I was just tired ( as a newt ).

I have looked at my photos and wonder what planet I was on when I took them. Most are rubbish. I also missed the photo of the week when a guy on a motorbike went past with a dog sitting on the fuel tank. The dog was wearing a red baseball cap and sunglasses.
If anyone gets a shot of that I would love to have a copy.

Hi
Lovely to have met you and yes the Lam Roast was superb, so was the T bone steak !. Not for the feint hearted that one ))

Found the Owl but did not get to go there  (this year) but got some good photos while hanging onto the cliff face of a road on the way.
I am not often scared but  I need my 4wd to do that drive again  Lol.

Lol
We had just had breakfast in the Hotel Marina when this dog flashed past. All my cameras where shut down and so I had to rush out with serviettes and camera bags dangling from me to see where they went. Unfortunately by the time I hit the street they had gone. I stood in the middle of the road for half an hour to see if they would come by again but no.((

A wet start to Arillas today. Looked to have rained a twinge overnight and currently raining again at 11:30. 10mm of rain recorded here,so far, at Kavadaddes in the last 24 hours with a reading of 32mm the previous two days.
But, as you all know, it does clear up very quickly and then we say "Wots that about!"

It's a dark, dismal 18 deg right know but give it time. Anyway it gives everyone the opportunity to take time away from the sunbed and beach. Spend a bit of extra time in the Bars/Tavernas and play that well known Arillas game:- "Spot a Forum Member"
(I may just play that one this afternoon.)
Cheers

I could quite happily spend a rainy day in Thalassa watching it unfold. Long lunch with few beverages *deep sigh*

Instead I am in grey humid London wearing a black suit :'(
Life is good ;)

It's no good tubedude - he'll set the White Van Man on you. We reckon that chilli flavoured Jelly Babies might work, but expect that to backfire too....

Revenge? Mess with his darts. (Seems to be working according to the latest posts.....)

lmao Phil

Phil - I thought anything with Chilli in usually did!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A little rain overnight here but the day is now begining to perk up a twinge. Drying out and 21 deg at 10 a.m.

A visit to Arillas with camera is planned later on. A little carpentry work to do, here at Kavaddades, whilst there is still a little of the morning left.

Saw Dave n Anne at Tria yesterday, both very tired having just arrived.
Hopefully a drink and chat with them plus Maggie n Gordon tonight.

But right now, motivation is the name of the game.
Mustn't get sidetracked or the day will be soon be gone.
( Have left my darts out of sight, in the PEG, so I'm not tempted to practice )
Cheers
