Now Lynn,
Don't get too stressed or give yourself a headache making such an important decision.
Thanks for your reports & glad you are having a wonderful holiday.

Hi ger - we are getting a bit too old for festival. Well there, I've said it now. To quote ColinD growing old is compulsory but growing up isn't.... But it is a wonderful event. We've been to a lot in our time.

sara agreed - but whichever you chose Lynn it would have been the right one!

It was a very good Arillas Today as Lynn says:-
and I popped past the Nut and there they were , taking it easy.
( they must have seen me though because 30 mins later when i snuck my head in they had mysteriously vanished ( Hiding in the toilet maybe )

Every body's idea of a good Arillas can vary so, so much.
To me the very enjoyable parts today were:-
A few hours work at Linnakis this morning. - Then....
see Paul n Maria and back to Kavadaddes for a drink and sityerdown...
....Then back to Arillas and pop to see if the guests at Linnakis were OK.
.....Pop into Tria Adelphia for a bit o business and a beer.
.....Nip into the nut for a bit o business and a beer and a game of darts with Riggers
.....Slide casually into Rainbow for an Ouzo and gane of darts with Riggers.
( Riggers is getting better - He's winning games now !! )
.....Meet Gata and Justlooking for a very long ole chinwag
.....See Graham and Julie who are still enjoying life here.
.....Back to Olgas Travel for another bit o socialising.
and..... then caught by Vassilis at Armourada who very proudly showed me the darts he has bought. - We just had to try them out. - He's one o the good guys yer know.

Yesterday was a bit like that as well.
Can't be bad I 'spose.

Depends what you want from life really. - 30 deg here at nearly 8pm and with an exchange moving up to e1.17, where else comes close?

Cheers
Negg

Nothing comes close Eggy. Your Arillas Today is our recipe too. But includes a bit of beach and pool, and of course too much food.

See you shortly

Another hottie today.  Sea is like a mill pond.

Beach still narrow but slightly improving. After a spot of paddling, the North Beach was perfect yesterday while we were there.

South Beach was deserted this morning, apart from Colin and me.  :)

We are currently chilling out with riggers in the Coconut Bar.  Live music here tonight, and hope to be meeting up with Sandy again then.

Eggy, thanks for the darts tuition.  Could have done with that BEFORE the match?!  :D

yammas to all,
lynn xx

Ah Lynn luvver

take a pinch of riggers
wrap it up in Mythos
add a touch of Rainbow
and a little bit of Kaloudis sunbeds...

I just so shuddered to read these words:

Quote
We are currently chilling out with riggers in the Coconut Bar.  Live music here tonight

PaulC and lovely wife Di will tell you that was our downfall. It was the only time I lost my legs last September. She asked me if I'd found them the next day...

We all add our bit to Arillas. In riggers, PhilandJen and erja's case, we are the p**s artists. BEWARE! But so happy to see you all repeating all of the mistakes....

riggers mate, I remember every minute. Well at least until I dropped my ouzo on the floor... It was yet another time I will never forget.

And a special thanks to Sandyx luvver. That pic-of-the-day was the second time I have seen the sun going down on kouklospito, and just as good as I remembered. Lynn is a ratbag, as is Eileen. I am a blatherskite and a toerag. You? well we're wroking on it... more news when you're abroad.

love to all of you lot. You know I wanted to be there...
Phil

It's a bit of "Sad" Arillas today people!

Not because of the overnight rain that gave us 6mm down fall by 8 a.m. and not because of the Arillas beach breeze which made life very difficult for those wanting a bit of a beach tan and quiet swim.
( No calm "lake" today but a bit of a challenge for those willing to take on the waves)

It's a sad Arillas 'cause it's a "bye-Bye" time to  Lynn n Colin and Riggers n Sue and Graham n Julie. Once again the time has gone so quickly.
( Only saw Steve n Lisa today and they have been here a week! ) Wots it all about?
M n M still relaxing at Tria though and Maggie n Gordon are still in hiding but I will find them soon! - Everyone here , plus those I forget to mention, play a major part in our Arillas and it is very sad to see any of you go.

Even with the slightly dismal and clammy day the temp still sits at 28 deg at 8pm.
Today aint been that bad and Monday we have a little work to do.......
...... But, for me I feel that Tuesday will be very quiet indeed.
(UNLESS ANYONE ELSE VOLUNTEERS TO GAMBLE THEIR EARS TO MY BANTER)

Cheers All

Make the best of the next two weeks
You know that the whirlwind will be in town in a couple of week’s time
White van man will be about, the liver hunter will have his work cut out, and poor Dimitris, what will he do?
Never mind I will try to keep him in line but somehow I don’t think that is going to work. Never rains but it pours.

How do I forget Kevin , Kay and Barbara? - Has this ouzo turned my brain into Jelly?

Mavis n Robin, Wendy n Stuart, Paul n Maria - Who else ?

But.... as John the Ref says "Make the best of the next two weeks"

White van man has already been around warning locals and they are busy boarding up windows and changing door locks.
Brouklis has had "Beware of the Rabid Liver" signs already painted and rumour has it that Dimitris's hair is beginning to turn white.
Who are we talking about here? Whoever it is they will not have a chance to get a word in edgeways when they arrive. We all drink their health and wish them a safe trip.

Now all we need is Erja and Heide to keep a civilised hold on things! -
(Maybe - depends if someone runs out of Mythos? / Ionian? / Amstel. )

Cheers

Yes folks, no sooner had I posted on how calm the sea was, and the wind changed!

Yesterday was certainly changeable as Eggy says, and then there was a big thunder storm in the early hours this morning, which we just about managed to get back to our studio in time for.  We got out of bed to watch the lightning, it was constant for some time....

Met the lovely Sharon and Billy last night, will be reporting on that one soon - there's not an awful lot that rhymes with CABBAGE.........

A great last night at Brouklis and Rainbow.........  2 hours until the taxi arrives.........
Where can I hide??

lynn xx
