Thank you all for your good wishes. Just getting a bit more of my Arillas fix before going there in person tomorrow!
Will report back asap on our return and hopeful upload some photos (if poss)
Last time we were there we had an "ordinary" camera and lost the photos...
Trying MUCH harder this time..
We also intend to be with Viv and Pete on their big day on the 20th, so more photos there as well!

Thanks for your offer of help, Phil. Hesitant because I tried to post a couple today for Martinw of our garden and got the message that they were too big. Didn't have chance to sort it, so didn't try to post them again.
Will try harder with pics when we get back, but will also ask you - thanks! - if I've any probs
Just realised - I'm now a super member!!!! Feels great to know I'm part of a lovely community of people...

It is a lovely community Janis. Once called a clique, but we don't exclude anyone who wants to know about Arillas, whatever they feel about it. Have really enjoyed sharing your excitement growing as you prepare for Arillas Tomorrow.....

Jen and me have made many very real and lasting friends because of the forum. We might have met them by chance, but that is so unlikely. You all know who I'm on about...

Keep posting Janis. It's a lovely place to be when it's wet and miserable.

Arillas Today peeps!

6:40 pm and still showing 26 deg on the "Wegg Monitor" - Excellant day and Arillas seems to have many more bodies in situ.

Arillas last night , found us at Brouklis. ( Negg, Wegg and Peggs - Parents of Wegg )
Who do we find?
Martin W - Having a very good time - Here for two weeks.
Vivian n Pete - Viv as chirpy as ever and Pete? - Laid back and Cool. - ( As always! )
Harold n Sally - Must be veterans of Arillas now ( Don't look it though! ).

I'm beginning to see many faces from last year and I haven't seen a sad one yet.

Weggs parents are here and father has been taking in a bit of sightseeing thanks to a local hire car. - And the vehicle is still in one piece. ( Wish I could do that ! )

Wednesday night is Darts Awards Night At Three W's San Stephanos.
Hope to see Viv , Pete, and Martin W there. Eggy is doing the speech etc. Aaargh!

Nuff for now people. -

Arillas Today was very special indeed.

I know it's always special to us all but t was an extra special for Vivian and Pete today as they renewed their wedding vows of ** years ago. ( OK then it's 40 )

Most Forum members were there to wish them well and the vicar even got his guitar out for a good ole sing song.

These photos speak for them selves and I'm sure Dimitris and others took many better ones. - Recognise any Forum friends folks?









We even had the odd "gatecrasher" - Now which one is the Stuart of "Wendy n Stu" ?


A great time had by all and very best wishes to Viv n Pete - "luvly cuple"

Finally , the beach is beginning to win it's fight against nature and trying very hard to get back to the beach we know.
