We arrive late on 10th and stay till 31st. Already wishing my life away! Will be there for an early week to keep us going though....

Breaking News !! - Arillas Today? - Man in pool at Hotel Marvel.!!!

Even at 25 deg , average today , he told me it was warmer in the pool than out.
(Then ordered a Caffe Frappe - WOTSTHATALLABOUT?)

Another super day but wind down continues and Arillas will soon be "Zombie land" Meant in the nicest possible way but we all here now look forward to getting our own chores sorted and there are many tired local folk waiting to come down a few rungs of the ladder.

But..... All visitors will soon be missed and good memories will take your local pals through the Winter to look forward to many welcomes next Summer.

I think tomorrow will be a quiet Arillas indeed with only a few steadfast folk squeezing as much as possible from the weather and absorbing the good company they can get from Arillas "well knowns"  who now have the time to sit and chat.

Neill you make me even more homesick for Arillas.  Glad the hardworking locals are able to wind down but I would love to be there in the quiet months too.  We miss you and will see you in September again.  Mo x

Weather Warning!! - "Weather" it can be believed or not. A Mistral in on the way.
(3 day wind , guys, and nowt to do with I)

However a super day here and we still have a many places open.
Grazella, Vinceremos, Christos, Brouklis. etc - Sharons looks good and a busy Armourada this afternoon.

Around 25 deg in Arillas at 5pm but , moi, has been in Corfu Town this morning.
Twas a real "Sweaty Betty" - Apologies to Betty! - Tag a few more degrees on that temp and then wonder why I have a long sleeve T-Shirt on.

Ha Ha! I am merry, Mythos or not when I am there. Sadly it will be late March before Jen and I settle into Arillas life again. So glad that so many are still soaking in the vibes. Must be an added bonus for Arillas businesses. Maybe the effect of the Beer festival? I hear it was a H-U-G-E success. Maybe we'll sample it ourselves next October. Fingers crossed.

Arillas Today not only gives all a super reminder of Summer but also bought my son and long term partner, plus Gracie ( and Travis (3) for a few days, staying at Brouklis.

I'm a "Papoose" - DONCHYERKNOW! - And a very exhausting reminder twas too!

The weather today has been great and the beach, for my 2nd visit, this Summer had been superb!!

A few sunbeds there, compliments of Christos (ex Creperie) who did not charge as we had a beer, or two.

Sad to admit but I forget , quite often , that I have a super family out there.

They have been very lucky with the treats that Arillas have given them the last few days.
( Weather, locals having more time, good food, a very relaxed pace - except for me - kernakkered!! )

Arillas Today

Well , I do not think there can be any more rain left after 36mm recorded in the last 48 hours. A tad of thunder and lightening and a few power cuts, to just make life interesting.

Now, at midday, with a sad 12 deg outside, the only small consolation for the small minority, finishing off their October break, is "no rain" showing on Wegg's super duper weather monitor.
(Hope it's not broken!!!)

..... Wonder if Sandy has been swimming every morning?? - Wonder if there is any Retsina left in Arillas?

15 degrees and sunny in Sheffield! would still rather be in Arillas!
