Dai was right – the number approaching 1 million is the number of visits to this thread, not the number of actual "Posts"
Well the page currently says that it has been Read 999,999 times – so this post number 7261 should make it 1,000,000 !!

Nice one Timbo - that's REALLY cheered up Truth knowing that you are going to be there in just 6 days and he's stuck in Wolverhampton! :-) ha ha
Only joking - enjoy your visit (which we all know you will of course!)
Have a Mythos for me while you are there!

Geoff, it's quite funny that you made the 1,000,000 "read" post seeing you have a house local to Eggy.....he can camp in your garden until he builds his house there.

Do you adopt cats as well? :D and have you room for the Punto?

Neill...... Bill and I will "caretake" your house for you while you camp at Geoffs.

Ha Ha - Nice one Val. But I don't have a Licence for Camping, so sorry Eggy you will have to sleep in the kennels with the dogs. Don't worry, they don't eat people - well not very often anyway, we do try to discourage it :-)

It was great thanks Rachel , a bit too commercialised for me but it kept the kids entertained and we managed to find some good traditional restaurants too.
Thanks Geoff but I can't work out whether the photo cheered me up or not . . . . . Lol. . . . .
I have just looked out of the window and needless to say I NEED a Mythos now !!!

Well you load of Arilliacs you!!
I have a busy coupla days and when I get back "Arillas Today" is reading 1000729?? - WOTSTHATALLABOUT?

Geoff wants me to move in. Val n Bill says I could go "camping" in his garden.
(I suppose I could practice my Micheal Crawford ""Hmmm Betty!" (That's a few years ago)

Val n Bill promise to house sit my Ouzo , or was it the cats? - They could have a strimmer each.
So many posts and "reads" in such a short time
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Last night, saw Wegg n Moi taking a meal at a very nice Sea front Restaurant. We were not there, very long, before a young Greek lad set light to his balls outside. I'll re-phrase that.......
...... A juggler who had a set of fiery orbs , on various lengths of elastic, which he swung this way and that , occasionally bouncing off the head of a passing Tourist (I lied about the last bit)
Anyway he seemed a big hit with all diners and was duly rewarded, after which, I assume he moved to his next venue. Anyone else seen him?? -

Twas a very busy Arillas last night. and Arillas today starts with a nice laid back 22deg.
Methinks that one or two coaches will be pottering to and fro collecting "old ears" and delivering some new ones for me to bash a bit.

Cheers
Negg

The flaming juggler was outside one of the restaurants we ate at when we were there in July. Can't remember which one it was, but the owner wasn't too impressed. Neither was I to be honest, as our meal was slightly spoilt by the overbearing smell of burning parafin.
He was quite impressive, just smelly!

He's been doing the rounds for a few weeks now, quite entertaining  we thought.

He is very talented, one night he was dressed as a circus ringmaster on giant stilts making balloons shaped like animals for the kids.

He puts on a good show and didn't walk all through the restaurant collecting..... he just stood at the front with his hat.

Much better than the guy with the barrel organ who spent about one minute turning the handle while his little boy went round collecting at each table.

If that's all he does he should give it away and become , yet another Organ Donour!!

Not many recent "Arillas Todays" , probably because we can tell you nothing different.

31 deg again at 5pm, "Yawn, Yawn" - Loadsa happy peeps "Nuffink new there then!"
Beach looking good - "So, Wots new?"

The highlight of the day? - Punto has got a slow puncture. Oh my god!! get on the phone immediately.
(Or tomorrow , or the next day , or just keep putting air in it)

Cheers
