Hi Val, just seen the new tables at Efi's and they are lower than the old ones. They are not in the main taverna but in the garden complete with umbrella and light. I think these additions will be a big hit with everyone.

Sandy, as Viv says the north beach is really good with very little easy wading. Haven't checked south for a couple of days but last time I looked there was only enough sand for two or three people. Have to check it out soon. And Sandy was your comment about Efi needing highchairs a play on words by any means?

I love Effy's, but always need a few cushions to get anywhere near the table!!!

I love Effy's, but always need a few cushions to get anywhere near the table!!!

Is that because, Sandy, after all those Retsinas you end up "sitting" on the floor???
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

120 !!! - Sorry not the temperature but exchange rate offered in Arillas today (e1.20 DONCHYERKNOW!)

Temp hovers at 24, which could be that bonus when added to the exchange rate. (Or vice-versa)

All looking hunky dory here and many recognisable faces beginning to appear.
Rumour has it that an "inebriated guest" tried to chat up beach mermaid, last night, but left muttering he got a cold reception.

Ah well, live n learn.

Cheers
Negg

The new tables at Effi's sound great, like Val, I'm vertically challenged too!

Message for Val n Bill; I spoke to (Welsh) Allan yesterday.  He and Pat were due to arrive in San Stef last week but he was taken ill with a suspected heart attack.  Luckily it turned out to be gall stones.  He's had the stones removed and going back on 5 June, hopefully to get the bladder out too.  So, they wont be around whilst we are at Mathraki this year - they'll be missed!   Allan asked me to pass on his best wishes to you both, and hopes that he will see you later in the year.

See you on Friday!

Thanks Anne, we have been in touch by e-mail and knew all about what had happened and exchanged a few messages but had not heard from him for about a week.

We were worried that he had gone back in hospital but now will get in touch again. Thanks so much for letting us know he is ok.

Pat will be distraught that they won't get there for ages :)

See you both soon, we arrive PM Friday.

Yeh, the kleftiko at Effi's is great and the chicken is almost as good.  Love the sound of eating in the garden

I have just driven home. from Sidari, with an outside temp of 24.9 deg.
Eh?? - A long time since I drove home in a sauna!!! (Thought twas an old Punto!)

Super Day and, prior to Sidari, took a jaunt along Arillas beach. Good to "sea" the sea being used.
Everything could be hotting up for the better + e1.20 for every quid you change.
(Forecast e1.22 in 3 weeks time. - Eggs a gambler - DONCHYERKNOW?)

Cheers
Negg

Ah! That must have been the day there was no one on the beach, hair in bunches, shouting yahoo! Yahoo! Saw you one day on the start of the trail, we exchanged hellos but I don't think you recognised me, I look so much younger than last time we met.
Will introduce myself next time. Yammas!
