We fly out on the 26th. Staying at Anna's. Janet is arriving on the 4th June. She is staying at the Marina with her daughter. Look forward to catching up with you and Carol.

Nice to hear from you Ian. I so, so, so know what you mean about taling a week to get to the beach. On my first day it takes 4 hours to get from Bardis Sun to Ina's and back with milk..... so many reunions and natters. But I'm not compaining!

Will you still be there early July? Will buy you a beer if we see you.

So stop trying to milk her goats, Phil, and buy a carton of it!

A low 18deg and dull here, so far, today with a tad of overnight rain. Forecast for Friday not looking super but these "forecasts" seem to change every other day.
We will see.

Hi Phil, made it to the beach yesterday and even managed to have a swim. The sea was not warm exactly but far less cold than I expected.  Looks like I will miss you this time round as I leave Arillas on 30th June. You'll have to drink the beer you were going to buy me yourself. I' sure you'll manage :-)

Sandy I'm afraid the south beach doesn't exist. In fact there is no beach south of Graziella at all at present. The North beach is quite small and the central beach seems to have shrunk during the unsettled last few days.

The bonus from this weather is that it is ideal for walking. It's nice to get up to Afionas without getting hot and sweaty, and with a strong tailwind it's a very quick trip.

The food as always is superb. Eaten in Horizon and Portofino,  both excellent. Marinos  says the weekly music will be starting at the end of the month and at Portofino Spiros is, well, Spiros.

Efi's and Thalassa both due to open by beginning of next week and Efi's in particular has made what I think are great changes. Looking forward to them both opening.

Dai, the changes at Efi's don't happen to include lower tables do they? :)
Bill and I happen to be quite short in stature......we love eating there but find the tables a bit high, mind you when you have the garlic prawns it's very handy, everything drops onto your plate instead of your lap. :)

If they're having lower tables I hope they keep some higher ones. I'm the other way round if the tables are low I end up wearing my food. My husband says we never have to worry about running out of money because we'd only have to boil up my clothes and we'd have soup for a week.

Chatted with Zissis who was working on some tables but don't know if they will be shorter. There will be additional tables but again don't know the height. Will let you know after they open

Sorry Val but there will not be any lower tables at Efi's, that's official.

Some bad news is that after the rain and wind the sea is colder.

The good news, for me (not you), is that I am here, you're not.
