If you look at the weather today you will see another dull, windy day. We've had some lovely sunny days which have been great for exploring parts of the island we haven't seen before. The expats are cozy with there sombres burning and plenty of entertainment in Amourada at the weekends. The Worried Men of Corfu are busy rehearsing ready for a summer of gigs.
The winter has been busy for the locals with their olives and now there are signs of spring and work has started preparing for the season. The first Easyjet flights start in 3 weeks, so not long now to see some visitors arriving.

Well done BBB.

I have been a lazy B for a while but am beginning to start buzzing again, as the weather "starts" to improve.

Camera batteries have been charged. Petrol in Punto. Ouzo in hip flask.

Watch this space.

Cheers

It's an age thing , John. - You get priorities mixed up.

A very quiet Arillas Today.

And..... a tad of a breeze.

and....... A new addition to our family here.

Left abandoned, at a Local Villa, with two others. One ran off and after feeding the others for a couple of days, one died. Couldn't leave this little bugger on is own. Our cats have adopted him until we find a good home.

Cheers

Great to have you up and running again Eggy.  Thanks for the pics with not a soul in sight - not at all the Arillas most of us know.  Glad you are taking care of abandoned cats.  Looking forward to more news as Arillas winds up for the coming season.
Pat

Lovely pictures Eggy.  Makes me homesick.  But what is that thing that looks like a stalagmite in the sea next to the jetty, or am I hallucinating?

I think I remember you telling me when the first one was bought in, before she was named that it was certainly the last pet in that house. I told you then you were a soft touch and now the word has got around. xxxxx

Eggy
Are you a softy allowing the new cat to join you? Probably.
Would I love the chance to make that choice? Yip.
Am I desperate to be back in Arillas? Absolutely.
Keep us unfortunates who can only visit informed as Arillas awakes for the new season.
Oliver.

Wow......Amazon are shipping kittens now, is it free postage??
Is it a boy or a girl kitten?  What have named him/her?  Just a really beautiful fluffy kitty.

I think I remember you telling me when the first one was bought I told you then you were a soft touch

You are both very kind people. X

I wish we were in Arillas today... someone would put us up, feed us and have laugh, a joke and a drink with us. It is so simple and beautiful out of season. I think we prefer it that way now, however much we adore it in mid summer.

Thanks for the pics Eggy. Hope to read many more Arillas Today posts before we get there in July. The bookmakers say it's evens as to whether the new moggie goes to a new home or not. Will it be number 4 or number 5 that closes the door at Neg and Weg's cat sanctuary? So identify - when we get there it will probably be 10 or more......

Phil

We nearly called him "Loo Brush" as when I first got him home he looked like one. Then it wnet to "S****Y Kitty" as he immediately took to an outside litter tray, that needed cleaning 3 times a day.
Now, not sure whether to call him Fido! or Corky as he has the habit of chasing wine corks, and we can find plenty of 'em. He brings them back to be thrown again. I will have a long story to tell all you animal lovers, who are interested, about him when you're here. Will it tug those heart strings?

Meanwhile we do have a pleasant Arillas Today with 21 deg in the Sun and dry.
All moggies romping around outside and looking forward thier next meal.

Forecast for Monday looks good so a tad of strimming will be in order.

Cheers All
Negg

I luv jokes , John , but that's "Snow" joke at all!!!

The kitty story could be used to make a film and not a dry eye is sight!
(Only when you're here though!!)

We're finishing the day, still with 21deg at 5pm, and Wegg is weeding the garden. - WOTSTHATALLABOUT?

Night Owl, tonight for a Nickos special.
