As Jersey Bean says, it does look as if Phil & Jen have got the place all to themselves.  I could only see two people on that lovely stretch of beach.
Thanks for the photos Eggy, as ever they say more than a thousand words could, and show us just what we are missing.
Best wishes
PJ

Hi Neil and all the lovely folk we met in July

Firstly a thousand apologies for not posting earlier. Life has been a bit strange this year/ lots of sad but also lots of
nice things. Meeting Phil and Jen at the Bardis Sun Studios and
the Darts Supremo Neil at the Night Owl to name but a few.
I must admit my 50th year was very eventful- met the luvly
Doug and his friends from Geneva - again at the Night Owl
who were having an ace time in Corfu. Hope they all decide to come back soon - it was more like the Geneva Convention with
all the different nationalities. Just shows what a great Souvlaki,
spicy Cheese dip ( All hail Linda and Nick), mythos, Greek wine
fine company and friends can achieve. The politicians should try
it sometime. World would be a nicer place.
Poppy, Spiros and Bobby excelled as usual at the Bardis and I hope they enjoy their break when the season finishes.
Look forward to returning next year - maybe Neil will win the darts next time!!

Paul n Deb

Darts Supremo? - Been called many things in my life time....But.....
.....Sometimes couldn't hit a cows bottom with a shovel.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A super Arillas evening and still many here having a good time.
Met a lovely couple from Switzerland tonight.

Home to a very warm house ( 21deg) and the temp outside sits nicely on 16deg
(at 11:45 but don't tell Wegg - Officially I'm waiting up for her return from UK)

All guests this week will have a good time and those places, still open, will also give those owners plenty of time to sit and converse
(Converse? - Talk hind leg off donkey is better)
I will be here, of course, to continue "rabbiting" when all others get tired.
But... Winter will wait for no person and it is getting closer as I type.
However my memories of Summer are great and will keep me going until, at least June, next year. Met loadsa luvvly peeps - THATS WOTITSALLABOUT.
(Memories will keep a tad longer when Phil n Jen get here)
Cheers
Negg
(Who now has to convince 3 cats that 16 deg outside is still warm, so no need to all curl up on my part of the sofa.

Well, we arrived. And what an arrival. For some reason the time was the earliest ever on that flight/taxi etc. It was only 12.20 when we waddled down into town.....

The Nut was open and Hanna and Yiota were patiently waiting for us. Many hugs shared and much hot air exchanged. I had ordered three Mythos before an hour had gone by, and swallowed them all with panache (or greed????) Couldn't leave without a Perry Black Russian. But Hanna made this one and he's got competition....

Dimitri had organised the fact I'm posting this, with an unsecured network called Phil & Jen. We shed a tear about the way he looks after us. Beers, water in fridge, key in door... As usual staying at Brouklis rooms is really special.

Arillas today is not a private resort for us two - there are loads of guests at Kaloudis we're told. And Arillas has a huge amount to offer the late visitor. I am going to try and convey the amazing last week we are about to have. We only arrived a couple of hours ago. We might need a holiday after this one.....

Phil

I can add that Phil n Jen continue to chill out , this afternoon, sat on a "sea front Bench" with beer in hand , courtesy of Sharon @ Marina Pool Bar.

They are enjoying a clear sunny 22 deg, as are a few lucky peeps here.

Brouklis and Armourada are still open as are a few other much needed supermarkets and shops, not forgetting the new snack bar that was "Helens Creperie" - Can't remember the name.

There are many peaceful relaxed faces around. Guests and Locals!
WOTTANICEAPLACEATBEIN!

Cheers

Kev mate, the happy couple have had a smashing day. Phil smashed all the records for sleeping all afternoon. What a waste! Arillas Today is like summertime. Hot, sunny and special. There is not a cloud in the sky here, it feels like the Gods have decided to revisit us and make it summer again. It is truly idyllic....

We got as far as downstairs, where we spent an amazing couple of hours with the boss, drinking our white and brown bread. Paying for things has become a struggle. We keep trying. Dimitris is so young and vibrant, the hub-centre of Arillas. We love him more than ever. And then we spent ages watching Gravia from a warm seat in Graziella. Spinach pies, Mythos, red wine.... bliss. There were several peops doing the same. Including Nic who we met here several times.

Arillas Today might be closed, but you can't put e down. It is still 20 degrees, cloudless, beautiful and OURS. Dinner at Brouklis shortly. Does life get any better?

Phil
