Arillas Today

Arillas today welcomes all with a 33 deg at 5pm. - We are so cool here!
To be honest, 33 deg is a bummer so UK temps are a bigger bummer!
Arillas was full of "water zombies" this afternoon. Roaming around mumbling "Water. Water"
(Makes a nice change from brains i suppose)

Twas hot and the beach twas full and the jellyfish had some sea worshippers to choose from.
(Battle of Britain springs to mind. So few spitfires and many bombers!!! - Help yerself chaps!)

I did hang around for a while but did not see any hopping competitions going on so assume all was safe.
There was a buzy Horizon Pool and . as I pointed the Punto home saw a busy Thalassa, Grazella, Vinceremos.
Actually busy all along the front with some offering a free brain with a large water as an incentive.

I have to go now as the heat has got me. I shall fry eggs on my kneecaps for dinner.

Better keep an eye out for me then as I talk too much and can get aggresive after an ouzo or two!
(especially quad bikes who don't cancel their signal, stay at wheelbarrow pace whilst trying to take a seflie)
Wanna see a wild bore then catch me at the wrong time!

Meanwhile... a busy Arillas keeps many on the beach enjoying 30 deg plus.
I saw many shorts being worn but not many being glugged.
(Not that I stare at people in shorts.... Oh,  and T-shirts also but no "Tea" Kevin)
They do say that with Covid symptoms munch a raw teabag!!
(But not Yorkshire tea as you will never open yer wallet again)

Me-thinks Tavernas / Bars / etc will be busy tonight and some have already started mid afternoon.

Do not know about Arillas , last night,  but we had 39.8 deg on our Kavadaddes balcony at 7pm.
It is running at 35deg at 5pm today so there is still time to blow my socks off!

A very busy Arillas beach and of course all pool bars plus many patrons who could find just a small breeze that kept them cool enough to enjoy a meal. Beach front eating houses working well for it's customers!!

I would have taken pics of the beach but they would have been unviewable due to the perspiration running down the lense. Just take it from me that it would have been difficult to swing a bikini let alone a cat.
(I did see a lady swinging a bikini but am too English to even try and capture it. Nice bikini though!)

Tis a hottie and 27 deg in the house.
Our poor cats continually to struggle and poor "black n white" Fritz, who always welcomes me home, dragged himself from under Wegg's Fiesta got halfway to the Punto and just collapsed on the gravel.
At least he made the effort and it made me smile

Today I see 35 deg mid afternoon and now 38.9 deg Kavaddades balcony at just before 7pm.
(My choice is sit and watch TV with a bearable 27deg)

Very nice at Rainbow to welcome my 'ole pal Cheryl plus James and his sprogs plus wifeee and others.
(Grannies , sons, son in laws , wives , I dunno? I gave up geography - All super peeps anyway)
Cheryl never seems to age so i guess her grandchildren keep her young? - I shoulda tried that!

Anyway, 3 more cats for the bar-b-q. Maybe I will freeze one for Jackson?

Arillas today finishes with , yet again 38deg on our balcony. Obviously it finishes for me as I try and find a cool cupboard to hide in! - Sadly all the cats have the best spots so I get the dregs of behind the boiler.

This was Arillas beach at 3pm.

I found an empty boot in a new Mercedes and my Punto is a randy littel bugger. When we left I reckon it had a good dose of rust!!
