Arillas Today?
A slightly hottie for yer bottie.
A beer at Rainvbow plus an Ouzo at Beach Kostas.
A good ole chinwag with Hels Bels but I do forget things......
....... I am sure Helen showed me a pic of her , on a skateboard, in the sea???
(Not sure if I got he skateboard or the sea wrong? - One or t'other. Maybe she will do a piccie?)

Rumour says the Vasillis (Beach Kostas) has now fitted a turbo to his kitchen zimmer so, if you eat there, expect the meal to be out quickly.

Arillas Today (Saturday)
34mm of rain since 21:00 last night but settled now at 18:00.
.
So good at Rainbow to see those faces that I have not seen since lockdown.
Liz n Hubbie , Sue n Roger , Sue ( as in Sue n Paul ) plus son and also Mick n Mary who like to walk in the middle of the road. They owe me a beer at Tria 'cause my Punto brakes work!!

25 deg at 16:30 and hope that the rain has soaked into the soil so I get get a spade in there avrio.
Cheers

Arillas today? - Well, you don't get much change from 32 deg.
Many cars and I think many visitors from afar.
Had a nice beer and a good chinwag with Yiannis at Tria this afternoon.
and........... One message for Kevin
Yiannis tells me to tell you he has found you a quad bike for September.

He says that if you are not confident then Bev can drive.
Cheers

The motivation to venture out , today, was lost when the balcony temp hit 33deg at 1:30pm

Many Houses/Villas around Arillas have no mains water. Those with water pumps have a slight advantage as mains water can appear for a couple of hours some nights. (This refills their tanks a tad.)
Those who rely on mains water will continue to be unwashed and unshaven. (and that's just the ladies!!)

But this minor hiccup and excessive heat fail to dampen the pleasure for all the guests. Tis a very busy Arillas and although the motivation to eat , during the day, is lost many catch up late evening.
Cheers

So , I got Arillas yesterday totally wrong.
The motivation to eat out , during the day, is not lost.
1:30pm , this afternoon at Rainbow and 4 couples plus 2 families tucking into whatever they ordered that had the need for a "tuckinto"
and... with a temp of 35deg? - WOTSALLTHATABOUT?

Kevin - Someone told me you wine a lot! - (or did they whine a lot?)

Mornings here seem to be a tad cooler now and 24 deg at 8am is not to be whined at!
Tis still a busy 'ole Arillas and for those "Draught Beer Enquirers". Kostas on the beach now stocks it.
So, you could say that, apart from the breeze there is a lot of draughts around Arillas.
(I can hear many whines coming from that comment!!!)

Cheers

Well Kevin. Arillas has been a beanfeast for many today. -- and no breeze with still 34 deg at 5pm.
I forgot it was a Saturday so a big suprise for me to see so many cars.

and... do quad bikes have a mating season?? - I see so many of these newbees around now and they must be "younguns" and new to the scene as many don't know in what direction they should be going.
Hopefully they will learn with a confident handler who, no doubt has had prior training??

Hi Neil
The weather is improving in Arillas in September I think I pack a few jumpers for the evening I don’t want to catch a cold at my age now 🥶

You should not drink cold beer a nice hot tea

It may seem counterintuitive to drink a hot tea on an already hot Summer day, but if the climate is right, that hot tea can actually cool you down much better than a cold or iced drink. In a way, drinking a hot tea in the Summer will also help you maintain the right body temperature
Hot tea is a delicious beverage that comes in many varieties and flavors. It also has many health benefits, including powerful antioxidants that are linked to prevention of several diseases and promotion of good mental health

Kevin - I look forward to seeing you at Tria with your hot cup of tea. In fact I may just rent a room 24/7 to ensure that is the only beverage you consume.
(Philip an Yianis are buying extra teabags as I type.)

Meanwhile.... I am struggling to get the house temp under 26 deg and 31 deg on the balcony.
Arillas soon and I reckon twill be packed and many cups of tea will be heartily disposed of in this weather.
Cheers

Arillas today welcomes all with a 33 deg at 5pm. - We are so cool here!
To be honest, 33 deg is a bummer so UK temps are a bigger bummer!
Arillas was full of "water zombies" this afternoon. Roaming around mumbling "Water. Water"
(Makes a nice change from brains i suppose)

Twas hot and the beach twas full and the jellyfish had some sea worshippers to choose from.
(Battle of Britain springs to mind. So few spitfires and many bombers!!! - Help yerself chaps!)

I did hang around for a while but did not see any hopping competitions going on so assume all was safe.
There was a buzy Horizon Pool and . as I pointed the Punto home saw a busy Thalassa, Grazella, Vinceremos.
Actually busy all along the front with some offering a free brain with a large water as an incentive.

I have to go now as the heat has got me. I shall fry eggs on my kneecaps for dinner.
Cheers
