I didnt think they could go much higher than two floors in the greek resorts or is that some other country.  Hope it doesnt turn into a high rise resort.
If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.

So that's why Wegg wouldn't let me talk to him!!

I don't think that 3rd floor will look out of place and having a little look around think that, the way they have planned it, it will b the final floor.

That was my concern blondegirl...and didn't someone say there was going to be an external lift....not sure I like all this - but then I am renowned at work for "failing to embrace change readily"....lol

I remember Big Gus. Is he eating a sheep`s head on one of the pics of the day? Nice pictures in previous posts.

Hi Eggy and all!
It's great to have all this updating on the forum. It's not too much of a shock when you get there and see the alterations. Glad you have your transport back Eggy! Sitting on your 'ass' didn't really suit! Ha Ha!
Hope all the building will have stopped when I get there in May.
All the best,
Martin.

This work will all be ready for May and you won't even see the scars.

Another fabulous day in Arillas with 15/16deg this afternoon, after a frosty morning start. A small breeze on the beach but not cold.

We parked the car by the Marina Hotel and then walked right to the end of the naturist beach. Just to prove it here's a photo.

We've haven't noticed before how interesting the rock formations are and will take a couple of photos of them, tomorrow.

And there was actually someone in the sea ! - She told us it wasn't too cold.
( We'll take her word for that )

Work still in progress on the Marina and you can see, by the layout, that there will not be another floor to follow. Not a chance of a high rise Arillas.

Hopefully a bit of a drive round to St George and back to Arillas tomorrow.

Cheers

Hi Negg and Wegg!
You lucky people! What fantastic photos, the one with the rocks and surf has so much detail!, the sort of 'atmospheric' photo's I like to take.Makes me wish I was there now. Where I am in Cardiff it's 'persistently precipitating the wet stuff' and it's rather cold!
The extension of The Marina Hotel doesn't look too bad to quote Kenny 'All done in the best possible taste'. When on the webcam I frequently see a car whizzing about, is that you? Certainly there are some fishermen or someone on the jetty, and I think I have spotted surfers in wetsuits in the sea on rough days.
Take care and thanks for the update,
Martin.

Oh Eggy....that beach looks fantastic already....

Well, it's been raining, quite heavily since the early hours of the morning and now a promised visit to Arillas/St George looks highly unlikely.
We've had 50mm rain up to 2 pm and a little thunder and lightening to add to the two very short power cuts. So? - Who cares? - It's not a cold day just a wet day and a chance to catch up on all those films we've been recording.

Once again it's natures way of saying "I'm in charge" and it's a very small price to pay for the last 3 excellant days. I tried a photo but it may not do the weather justice.

Always tomorrow though - Arillas beach will still be there!

6:30 here and still raining but a warm 10 deg. Another 40 mm of rain since 2 pm.

But still a pretty good day

Everything's gowing well here but the ole veggie plots will need a bit of TLC soon.

Went to Night Owl Friday night. Linda sends her regards.
