Lindypops
"Have you gone to bobees" sounds like a phrase for excess alcohol.
( Like "Have you gone to the dogs!" )
Have I forgotten to do something??

Keefy
I don't think Haloween has a following over here. Probably because there are no tricks in Arillas - Only treats. - ( Wegg has stuck finger in back of throat-uuughhhh )

Terry.
"Witch" picture should I be trying to look at????

Smiffy
Thank you for those very kind words. What a nice lady you are.
( Look out Brett - That walking stick is only for show. - I'm only 25 )
I will try and get as many pics as possible of various places before the season officially closes

So, good Forum People, just to prove Arillas is still alive and kicking see the following snap taken in The Coconut Bar this afternoon. - OK it looks like evening but I aint David Bailey. Spot the, MY Travel/Manos, reps in the background.  - maybe

You're looking at Phil & Jenny, two Forum members, who tell me thay have had an excellant time this week. ( Go home tomorrow )
Who needs 36 deg and sunbeds? - Each to their own I 'spose.
They've had the holiday they wanted - and more. They're from Glastonbury but that does not make them bad people! - (Only joking- Honest. - Double Honest)
I look forward to seeing them again in June 08. Or before, if they can manage it!!

So, not much else to say. Dimitris still with customers at 3 pm when Arillas had a twinge of rain. ( He has a party of 25 booked in for Saturday )
A really good afternoon with temps of about 16 deg and, right now, looking forward to a very good winter. - ( Negg gives sigh of pleasure at this point and chills out )

Stay Well All
Negg

The fine weather we have today linked with a fairly dry day yesterday means:-
" No Arillas Today "

A bit of work outside here in Kavvadades for me I'm afraid. - Sorry Folks!!!

However ....
Just a glimpse to show you our view we wake up to each morning. We're right on Kavvadades Village boundary so what you see is, what I call, the centre of the village.

The church is on the left hand "top" side which, any one driving, through Kavvadades, to Sidari, will recognise.
It's 20deg here now and working outside would be too good to miss today.
( But I will stop for an Ouzo now and again!! )
Cheers

OK - The magic of Arillas "an all dat" couldn't keep me away for long.

It's a very warm and respectable 23deg on the Arillas front so I clicked a pic of how good the sea and beach looked.

And..... On the way home I stopped in the Rainbow.

Dimitris ( Jimmy ) and friend Dave. I'm told Dave will be the last guest to leave this season. ( Not because his elbow's stuck to the bar either )
Jimmy wishes all guests and friends a very good winter and all his family are geared up for next summer.  Couldn't get to find Spiros but maybe still time.

So back to the garden now.
Cheers

Hopefully we'll sit outside. Temp at 6 pm is 22 deg so as long as it doesn't plummet...

Thanks Viv 8 Maggie.
1000 posts at, average 2 minutes a post, is about 33 hours.
That's a lot of valuable drinking time!

A really good time at Brouklis tonight. We sat outside in temps of around 19 deg. It rained a little but not enough to bother us.
Dimitris name day continued during the evening with friends and family just turning up with gifts and settling down inside for a "good 'ole get together"
We mustn't forget that it's the name day of all Dimitris today so Jimmy at the Rainbow and our neighbour will also be having a good time tonight. PLus of course any other Dimitris you have met when in Arillas.
" Kronia Pola" to them all.
