Well Karl - U B RONG!
Armourada opened last night.... and yer spoilt my suprise.

I have been sneaking a pic or two.
Some late afternoon guests.

A super spaced out seating area.

and, of course , Vasillis , wondering what it's all about.
He says "Course we were gonna open! - No worries!!!"

I never found Erja. I think her'ole man is keeping me away from her!!
Don't worry about the competition , I say ,I'm 93 and on a Zimmer Frame.

Hi Karl
Yer talking Len n Sandra. "Parts of the furniture now" - I mean that with respect.

Interesting that they and other "afternoon locals" were buying their beer from the across the road and drinking it in Armourada.
(Not bad for e2,20 a pop with "Taking Teasy" a bonus!!)

33deg at 6pm and I fear I may have missed Erja. I did a search this afternoon but Peri, Coconut, thinks she left today.- Bummer!!- I would have loved a catch up with both of 'em.

and... talking of Peri it seems that Lee will not be there this Summer.
(Can't remember who asked me that question)

and.... I am worried about our meal at home tonight. Being superstitious I was concerned that Wegg bought a fresh chicken for e6.66. I opened the fridge and see the sign of the devil stareing at me. If I am not on this Forum tomorrow you know the reason why.

Hi Karl yes it is a shame Lee will not be there this year he did tell me last year that it was a possibility he could be elsewhere. I gave him my Retro spurs shirt which he wore in the coconut maybe that has put the hoodo on him.

Truth

Fair play mste for giving him that 👍
He was talking about setting up his own business , something to do with cometics and using beeswax from his fathers bee keeping business on the mainland.
I wonder who'll cover the afternoon shift now, unless they split it between them all?

Arillas continues to make "Swallocks" for "Betty" and "Hotties" for "Botties"
(Why the hell I am typing this?? - "Plost" and "Lot" springs to mind!!)

anyway.... a nice smile from Karen , this afternoon, but don't tell Colin!!!

and.... Sue, wife of Riggers, plus daughter here this week with John's ashes.
(Riggs sadly died last September)
They are here to scatter/leave his ashes in the place he loved most. Twill be a sad time when tis decided what to do.

I will miss Riggers, he was the only guy I could beat at Darts. I did tell Sue not to let me throw the ashes as I would probably miss the sea!!!!

Joking apart... tis a sad time and a reminder that nowt stays the same.

Anyway.... the World Cup of Darts starts this evening. Should be fun and better than Germany winning the football unless Belgium cause an upset. - WOTDOIKNOW!!??

A couple went to Armourada on the first night and sadly they were the only ones in.

Truth

It will need to pick up a head of steam you'd think as they are so late opening ☹️

hello from a 32,c hot Austria, and i live at 900 metres in Tirol. - horrible wih no sea!! Re your freinds ashes - did not know them but my own experience with rainers ashes scattering was wonderful.

Our airlines - had to fly fom Munich, do not allow you to have the urn in hand baggage - expect is different in the UK, so the urn had to be in the case. Had the paperwork with me so was not too worried. Arrived in Corfu very relieved that I was there, when I opened my case there was a paper from security that as there was an undefineable shape on the scan -did not realise tht everycase is also securityy scanned! dumb probably -and they had openeed the case - was ok -2 signitures and no damage - so was very relieved. bit of a long tale - also you have to state that there a´s no personal value and Greece will accept it.

Iam sure that is all a bit easier in the UK Philippa

Temp is now 38.5 outside and I wonder why we live here. Is there nothing between the Summer and the Winter? - I long for a 22deg , no breeze , and warm to yer fingers.
(Bye bye to sweaty armpits)

Anyway.... good for you guys n gals to polish up that tan, get yer sprogs, if you have any, in the sea for a bloody good time.......
..... then wait until 21:30 ish for a relaxing food binge.

I could do with a holiday!!!

Just past 6pm and 38deg outside. 28deg inside and I am doing a naturist thing, but we don't go there. (Frightens me looking in the mirror)

Corfu Town was a real bummer today but dropped Wegg to the Airport for a month in the UK.

A super relaxing beer n Ouzo at Three W , this afternoon and home by 4pm for some racing.
(Not me - The Horses !!!)

Hi
How comes you get to like your own post?
