Sir Keith Stammer?? - Did I type that?

Anyway....currently sitting at 37 deg for 7pm and when I left "Beach Kostas" at 4:15 twas an over crowded beach. Actually anywhere that offered a pool.

I donna like this heat - I want my mummy!!!!

But I get the impression that I am the only one to suffer. Everyone else is on cloud nine!!
(Shirts off , shorts on , Jesus sandals fitted and a funny hat!!)

I think the world has out grown me!!

Cheers

Mo... Does that mean Dave's changing his name to "Tom 'o Hawk" ??
(I bet you are "Squaw- kin" at that reply?)

The weather here plus the breeze makes darts a "no-go" at the moment. Not much is going on and I hope that in 5 weeks time lt will settle down.
Wegg in the UK at he mo , Mo, because this heat is far too much or her to cope with.

Right now tis 38 deg outside at 18:30 and inside temp is 30deg. - It's painful!!
...
All that said ... Arillas customers continue to take advantage of this weather and more people in the sea than shopping at Lidls (Corfu Town) this morning.
(and twas a busy Lidl)

and.....I still donna like this heat and still want my mommy!

Be well ,

Just sneak in the back way of Tria and shout hello Phil. You will then see the resemblence!!

Anyway . Nuff of this twaddle. I am looking at a 41deg outside balcony temp at 6:30pm.
One of our cats is suffering from overheating and currently sits with a fan blowing at him plus a cold wet towel over his back plus lying on another cool towel.
(He was panting as a dog when I came home and just collapsed by the Punto.
Not just me but others are leaving dishes of cold water at various bins.
Bloody hot and I cannot get the house temp under 29deg.

Cheers

Ah Kevin.... I may have to put you in the boiler room but would give you a blanket.
(if the cat aggrees to share)

Bev should be conveniently placed in the 2nd bedroom , but don't worry because I will have a padlock on the door! (My door to stop her getting in!!!)

Now , Arillas today...
.... 37 deg approx and people queuing up to get in the sea. Not the biggest problem as they have to find somewhere to park first.
It reminds me of Weston-Super-Mare where eventually the tide came in and all got excited.
(Those sad watchers should be here and be excited all afternoon. Just pick yer time.)

Very good to see many using their own beach towels, bamboo mats and local bought brollies.
AND Y NOT???
If an all day stint then renting these bits may be worth it.
If you are there for a max of 2 hours than plonk yerself down with your own bits , do what you
do and plod on. - My opinion? - I ain't paying 6e/8e to sit on the beach for a short while.

As I type this I have noticed the outside temp has risen to 40.2 deg. This is 7pm.
Maybe I will make a madras for tea???

Cheers

Just driving around, this afternoon , I feel that it is getting a tad busier. Parked cars do not reflect this but the number of people eating their 1pm to 3pm lunch seems to have increased.
Obviously those wise people without an appetite will be on their beach mats.
Those others, without an appetite, will be hiring sunbeds.

A busy Rainbow at 2:30 pm with no room to swing their resident cat.

Temp has moved to 37deg at 6:30 and I continue to struggle to get under 28deg in the house.
I cancelled the Madras for last nights meal. Perhaps I will prepare it for tonight?

It is good to see so many faces returning. I bumped into Jackson and Son 2 days ago but feel he is hiding away now.
But I'll find him in the end!
