Weather today has been scorching. Too hot to sit in at times. Thank goodness for the air con.

Sitting at George's (creperie) yesterday for our last meal, I was reliably informed that it was 39 degrees! Fantastic weather, but certainly needed the aircon while sweeping and mopping the apartment before leaving!!
Wall to wall blue skies in Arillas for the last two weeks and here I am back in the UK looking at wall to wall dreary grey. Hey ho, roll on 2009 for more than two weeks blue skies at a time!

Quarter past five and 35deg outside - 27deg inside.
It's been so hot today I've been taking clean socks out of the drawer and putting them straight in the laundry bin. Might as well cut out the "middle man".!!!

What a great feeling - leaving the airport, boarding the coach and knowing that you have got two glorious weeks in Arillas not a care in the world apart from where are we going to eat tonight.
