Ha ha Viv - if the temperature drops it won't only be our feet that'll be blue... lol

We'll have a FANTASTIC time with our FANTASTIC friends - whatever the weather!

Love

At 9:00 am this morning we are looking at, what just might be a dry day.

Last night was a little thunder n lightening etc here at Kavaddades and over the last 36 hours we've had 60mm of rain recorded.

I have a good feeling that next week will be much better now that nature has got all that out of her system.

Cheers

Janis

Arillas Today, or rather at Lunchtime.

Quite breezy but dry and not too cold. A very dramatic beach.

Anyway, who could pick fault in the day when you have such a warm welcome from Efi at Eftihia?
'

We paid a visit there to see Jean Walsh's exhibition of work and once again very impressed. - Each copy unique. If you have it your neighbour won't have a copy!
.

Don't forget Jean's offer that if you do pass by her House and she's outside, you are always welcome to see her work. The  photo's do not do them all justice but does prove, at least that the sun was shining. ( and the photographer was rubbish! )

Now,the outside temp has dropped 2 deg, in the last hour, to 24 deg but it's still dry and the wind has relaxed quite considerably. Fingers crossed for Avrio.
Cheers

Ah Eggy, if this one gets through....

The wild, foaming sea draws me like a magnet. Sad ole git can spend ages just watching the waves.

Efi provided us with some of the best food we ever had. I think it was mum who cooked, but she (mum) was a bit nonplussed when I gave her a typical philhug. When I ordered I said "can I have extra garlic with my prawns please?" and sure enough, a whole clove thinly sliced spread all over them. B****y gorgeous. Like I said before, enjoyed it more than Roula's bourdetto. That is a first....

I love Jean's work. She and Sennan make a picture of what Jen and me would have become if we'd found Arillas in its early days. Oh well, we gotta few left....

Thanks for the post. See you in October
