The Arillas breeze is here today people but did not deter many on the right hand side of the beach that had the space and , obviously the laid back time to enjoy it.

Still around 23 deg and a good day all round. - A few darkish clouds are now making an appearance and car windows closed just in case.
( Keys still inside vehicle though - This is North Corfu after all )

Said our goodbyes to a Ivan n Avril today. - Time has again gone to x16 on the DVD.
And ... we've lost Wendy n Stuart to go with Paul n Maria back to the UK. - Bummer!

But ,Arillas in September will be pretty damm good , methinks and donchyerknow!.
( Even though it's only e1.09 on the exchange - Take more water with it - offset cost )

John the Ref will soon have his tickets and will soon join Riggers here.
No tickets yet John ? - Red card is in order!

Be well all

Gee thanks everyone!

Finally booked flights and confirmed Marina apartments for 26th July 2010 school holidays because I don't have a choice!  Booked Arillas because it was a quiet peaceful resort and now you are all saying that it will be absolutely heaving!!
Great (not)!!

Well too late now!

I'll be there weather Arillas is ready or not!!

Angela.

Oops spelling of weather, hey ho!!
Bed now up for work at 05:30, oh happy days, and these are nothing like happy days!

Arillas never "heaves." It's all relative. Some visitors heave and some some don't. You can choose. You will find whatever you want if you look...

The only heavy I know of is the heavy sigh of releif, by some locals, when they realise the season is coming to an end.

Arillas heaving?- Nah!

Many people here miss the company of guests, in the Winter, but equally need a break of thier own as well. Torn loyalties I 'spose. A heavy sigh of releif followed by:-
"We're going to miss all our pals , old n new!" - Hard to put on paper.

Arillas today gave us around 24 deg and another pleasant day had by all.
Steve n Lisa here and had a darts thing or two at the Rainbow with Steve, I think the flight  ( Airport Flight that is - Not Darts Flight )  may have been delayed but never got round to asking questions.
Anyway - Both looking as well as ever and will meet again soon , lads n lassies.

A distant neighbours dog is barking, as I type, and I think I may have to shoot it soon No one ever asks what I WOULDN'T miss living here.
I was once told the best cure for a barking dog was a piece of lead put in the ear.
( Preferably fired from a gun ) - Hey ho! - Watderyerknow!

But Arillas will cure all ailments & heal all wounds.Take WRUFF with smooth I 'spose.

Cheers

i would love to put lead to someone elses ear no names though but those of you who no im talking about will all agree

vivian

Hi Janis, I dont like dogs that are barking all day and worse still all night. it drives me barmy, I dont mind a dog that protects his owner's property as someone goes past and actully think it is sometimes a good thing, but all the time! I think I might take a lead to the owner's ear. See you saturday. love Viv

Never feel you will ever be imposing on me with PM's - If I can help I will.

Arillas Today is a much quieter Arillas. Temps still hover around that 24 / 25 deg mark and it's been a very good day all round for all concerned.
( Even our yappy dogs are thinking about taking it easy now - )

But... It's a laid back Arillas with locals and the likes of me feeling that, although , something is missing and we're soon to start preparing for those Winter jobs, the missing part is what we're beginning to miss.
( Sort of like the Mary Celeste with just a few crew members - Hmmmm ! )

I don't understand why more people take advantage of Sept and Oct times and I know the weather is a gamble but many, many more locals have so much more time to spend with everyone...... and they genuinely enjoy it.. Sit n chat n drink n learn.

Ah well , Riggers still to come and John R and others. Time to excercise tongue and get prepared to bend a few more ears.

Cheers

Mick and Jill

Hi Tony & Glenda we will be on your flight if it's Thomas Cook.  So if you see someone really stressed (me)and a laid back bloke (Mick) pushing an old woman (mam) in a wheelchair and a boy (Calum) who will be sooooo excited it will be us, say hello or you may want to run and hide ha ha ha

Have just had mam to GPs for check up and they said she is fine to fly so at least can relax a little.
