Hey Eggy, stay on Greek time and enjoy it all with Mrs Egg.
Lindypops.

Eggy

A little cold in Arillas this lunchtime.
Not the cold that would make you do "BIG BRRRRRRRS!" but the sort of cold that makes you glad you have a coat on. A bit of a chilly breeze and a choppy sea.
( Which didn't seem to bother the guy fishing on the end of the jetty )

The 14 deg temp forecast today could be bit optimistic. It's 1:30 here now and is around the 11 deg mark.

Very peaceful, there though, just standing watching the waves and taking in the calm of the place. A few other people there doing exactly the same.

I think the web cam may be on the blink at the moment which is a pity because any one veiwing it around 12 ish would have spotted the Red Pug and it's owners.
Next time maybe.
Cheers

We woke up to snow this morning.  We have been at a Christening in Buxton this afternoon and we have crawled him in a snow storm with the 4-wheel drive on the car.  It's freezing, wellington boots out for work tomorrow and we have slid down the drive to the door.  Winter has definitely arrived in Derbyshire.  Wish we were in Arillas!

riggers

Iv'e just been told about the snow in Buxton. My brother lives there...riggers...

I keep forgetting how spoilt we are here in Corfu at the moment. I look at the temp now, at 10:45, and it's 10 deg.  ONLY 10 DEG's !! ( Inside it's 22 deg )
( 9 deg in the morning and I will wonder what's going on !)
I'm told that Jan/Feb will be the coldest times so we'll wait and see.

Don't know how we'll cope if it drops under 5 deg.

( Is there a Greek word for snow, I wonder? )

"Snow" joke to wake up to that in the morning John.

Xioni eh Riggers? - I hope that's a word I don't use over here!

A very nice day here today and, I think, the same expected for tomorrow.
Just had a delivery of stone/aggregates etc so, all being well, can start the paths and patio area Tue/Wed.
