Hi
Last night went to Kostas on the beach a very lovely meal as always.
The wine festival parade march along the front the old donkey leading the way.
We did not end up going to the festival as been so many times before and a bit tired.
Took some pics of the sunsets and other things.
I wore my rock shirt last night the amount of people stopped me I like your shit where did you get it from my reply California USA.
Now I know how a rock star feels😂

Kevin - You should raffle that shirt for the Cat's Charity.
Just imagine the number of balls we could chop off the stray toms??? !!!!
and..... will you sleep at night? - Loss of gonads may get in yer mind.

I am told that next week is much cooler. Yeah Right!!
34 deg at 4pm guides me to disbelief. - Hope I am wrong.

Meanwhile..... my little trip to Sidari found me people watching.
Twas a good 'ole relaxed place. Each to their own.Enjoy wherever you be!!

and...... yesterday I rescued yet another tortoise from the middle of the road. Bear in mind that Greeks would do the same for a tortoise. A snake ,no chance.

(Mind you if I had not of rescued it, the lil bugger would have overtaken me!!)

Cheers

Hi

Our last Sunday night we stayed at the Tria and had the spit roast lamb as always fantastic it all went down with a few glasses of wine and ouzo and why not.
This morning heavy clouds scudding cross the sky not looking good the Greeks are jumping up and down like it's a ritual thanking the old man up stairs for rain he is going to deliver or not

And Neil that shirt is worth more then a few small cat Balls

This afternoon , in Arillas , there were many looking up at the sky with trepitation waiting for the skies to darken just that tad more.

Others were sat watching the breeze around them waiting for that extra gust which just might take away that half full glass of wine of beer.

Meanwhile, locals rub hands together waiting for the onslaught that is forecast.

I spent 2 hours plus, this morning, strimming and cleaning all our gutters and drainage for the tonight's "Kick Off"
Cats tails have been nailed to the floor as we don't want to lose them and anything that will fly about is hidden away.
It tis very bad tonight then power cuts may not be far away.

Exciting times and hoping that we do get just a bit of rain. 15mm would be nice.
and... Kevin , wear that shirt if out 'n about tonight. Should you be whisked away by a tornado you will be easier to find in the morning
Cheers

Someone posted a photo of it on FB. More predicted and an extreme weather warning issued.

Eggy

I have just had a "Severe Weather Warning" on my mobile.

It think it said something like.

"Tie your Grandmother Down"
"Lock your Grandfather in the boot of your Car"
"Eat all your animals to keep them safe"
"If you go out tonight go home immediately"
"If you see lightning give Kevin a metal rod to hold"
"Destroy any jars of mustards far away from the house"

Of course I may be wrong. I just wish I could read and understand Greek better.
Cheers

Well not a lot happened after we got weather warning I think Neil like's nailing cats tails down
And tying people up haha

Today more fresh the sky looks likes it might open again at some time.
So Neil is using a claw hammer to remove the nails from the cat's tails today no darts and no ouzo

You must be a heck of a heavy sleeper Kev, lol. Someone  has put up a video of last nights storm, and it's pretty impressive (I think filmed from the Kaloudis). Lots of lightening and torrential rain. Maybe Philip has arranged for the storm clouds to avoid the Tria whilst you're there - he does look after his guests very well. :)
