March and April are my favourite months on the forum. These are the months when Eggy tells of all the changes in Arillas. What has newly  opened and what has closed. What new building has taken place and what alterations and extensions have happened.                                         He is always very careful though not to tell us everything thus leaving us with some surprises when we arrive later in the season. Thanks for your continuous Information Bureau Neil.        Here is looking forward to seeing the developments for ourselves in June.   Ron and Sue.

Eggy can you give us an update on the road by the river, has it been repaired safely?

Bill is wondering if he should bring his wellies at the beginning of May because shorts and thigh high wellies is not a look for a 70 year old man😀

Val, don't knock it 'til you've tried it !! xx

Eggy

Ron n Sue ---- You will see many changes and some you don't see will be there , and so under cover you will think they have always been there. (As you rightly said I do not tell it all!!)

Val n Bill ----- that river road gets thinner , every time I drive down it----and after an Ouzo or two it gets thinner still when I have drive back! - Twill be done though as all hiccups, that we see may have now, will not be hiccups when you guys appear.

And..... me-thinks ... possibly a few extra benches along the front?? - Now I say toooo much.

A 16 deg dry Arillas today which brings out many places getting their Winter re-furb. - Every Summer , summit new!

Avrio for me, and the camera to get that long awaited pic of the beach.

Be well,
Negg

Steve and Carole, just hope for everyones sake that the road is done before we arrive.

Bill in wellies and shorts will scare any new visitors away believe me 😂😂 see you both soon, because I am hoping you will be there when we are.

Yeah. Thanks Eggy. Looking good.

Arillas today looks good, thank you Eggy.  We missed last year due to illness and are really hoping to experience it for ourselves again this year.  Having been for 20 years, it was a huge miss.  Nothing compares regardless of what size the beach is (but have to say it's looking great right now) or the width of the road (it's all one size after a few ouzos). :)  Hope a good home can be found for those darling kittens.  I would love them but Paul would have something to say about that, as well as our Ada and Herbert!! (Our cats).
Please keep the pictures coming, along with the updates on construction.  Keeps me sane and eternally wanting more of Arillas.

Wonderful postings  Neill, and everyone. I read them all, many twice. There is a good chance I won't be treading on that road or that sand in 2017. Like Ann, I am not sure how to cope with it, but reading Arillas Today sure helps.

Wow that beach is looking fabulous! It will be a bittersweet one for us this year in our (I think) 19th year. One of the twins (Harry) has decided he is having a break maybe going with his mates to somewhere a tad busier than Arillas (fool!) the other (Max) is positively bristling with excitement in having is room and bed to himself methinks he will find it tough though when it comes to their table tennis at the Akti each day at 5 and messing around in the pool early evening. My eldest Lewis cannot resist the Arillas pull and is bring a mate who is a complete Newbie but he comes in June a whole month before us. I know that this was inevitable but I find it very hard not having us all together as this is our special family place. I know I probably sound pathetic! My point is that life is constantly changing but Arillas is always there waiting and I am sure that whoever cannot make it for whatever reason this year that the next taste will be sweeter still x

Oh Jo. I know the feeling. Where do the years go? It seems 2 minutes since my son Joe and your son Lewis were  playing pool at Kaloudis.

Eggy

Well, guys, after an overnight burst of thunder n lightning , plus a 15mm overnight rainfall.........
.................we now have a 20 deg Arillas Today and with a little sun to generate that warm all over feeling.

Tis such a shame that no-one can be here to take , not only, advantage of these days , but also to spend some prime time with our Arillas pals.

Cheers

Ah Jo. It must be odd to know that for the first time you won't have all your boys with you this year. I sort of know how you feel; I can't go to Primrose Valley caravan park at Filey without crying because that's where we took our children every year when they were little :-)

Who knows what the future will bring? It might not be long until you're letting us know that you're trooping off to Arillas with half a dozen grandchildren in tow! Enjoy the time for yourselves while you can. (I'm sure Max will find a pool and table tennis partner)
