Arillas Today is cooler, with high cloud but barely a breeze. I feel warm, but Sofia at Marvel had to go and put on her coat - it must be me who feels like this. Unsurprising really - I feel so  well it hurts! Today will see us heading for 3Ws in San Stef to renew our friendship with Margerita and Chrisanthos over the inevitable beers.... It's a hard life but someone has to live it!!

Our "quiet" week gets busier from here on in. Sandra and Len are back in town, Anne and Phil arrive tomorrow and Nic and Bob the day after. We are heading to Night Owl on Friday for what promises to be a wonderful evening.

Is must be getting warmer, now Phil, as I sit in Kavaddades with a warm 17 deg outside
But.... our super duper weather recorder is forecasting rain...... WOTSTHATALLABOUT?

AND........ good news for our little Village of Kavadaddes.  An American company are turning the old football pitch into an OPEN AIR ICE SKATING RINK.
Planned to be open for July it will offer a shuttle service,from Arillas, and a small pool with free sunbeds should you want to cool off after all that exercise!
It's all "Open Air" so smoking will be permitted and hot soup will be available if it gets too chilly.
For beginners they are using a new Ice Skate which has 5 adjacent blades to stop you falling on that icy hard surface.

Arillas Today was full of new and full of old. We could never go to our afternoon siesta without meeting someone else.Not that we are complaining. We spent a serious hour with Spiros after a morning with many others, including Sandra and Len  Eggy took us to see other dear friends in San Stefanos, Arillas Today also saw the young folks who love this place as much as we do. Billy (Will to his friends) and Danielle lighted up our afternoon.. Jen has collapsed from Metaxa overload and i am writing to all of you Arillas Addicts.

Our life in Arillas is all that you who waste their time r4eading this expect. We  are friggin LOVING IT!!!!

Me too! It's like a tonic in this miserable Lancashire weather!Please continue Phil as so many people are loving your take of Arillas 'waking up'.  I have cooked a delicious Greek meatballs recipe tonight (as it is Wednesday Wine (TM) night) with the Marina Greek Night CD as background music and it was sooo nice and pathetically we both got a little emotional but oh my GOD how fabulous to be THERE.  Like Peter Sellers once said... just BEING THERE. Deep sigh
